Master Yun just wants to let everyone know that the move date to the King Street location is this coming Saturday 10/18/2025
No regular classes that day

Master Yun met with the Be Ryong families yesterday and announced that the studio is merging with the Hapmudo studio. While it seems sudden, Master Yun had been in conversations with Grandmaster Lee about a possible collaboration in the past. And when landlord issues arose, the time was right to merge.

Starting Monday, September 22, all Be Ryong classes will be held at the Hapmudo studio at 5380 Eisenhower Ave LL, Alexandria, VA 22304. The studio is just a few miles from the current Be Ryong studio, it’s next door to the Van Dorn Metro Station and there’s plenty of parking. The class schedule will remain the same. The instructors will remain the same. All contracts and fees will remain the same.

This is a temporary location until October, when the new studio will open on King Street. More information to come.

We received a beautiful letter of thanks from the Hume Springs, Virginia Civic Association. The Be Ryong demo team performed a short demonstration during National Night Out earlier this month. It was our pleasure to be there and support the community. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Today’s belt ceremony was extra special because it was also a black belt ceremony. These four students received their first-degree black belt in taekwondo. Congratulations to them all!
