We had the opportunity to work with an awesome group of kids this season, ranging in age from 5 to 16, and we are grateful for the learning, growth, leadership, sportsmanship, family bonding, and friendships that we saw this season.

A special thank you to our 8 Females in Flag for playing the entire season and contributing so much to each of your teams. You are setting a standard that others will follow.

Also, a special thank you to our 16U. You were few in numbers but big on talent. As one of the hardest age groups to find participants, we are glad that you chose us this season.

We often say that what we do is so much more than sports. We have given so much this season that our energy is low as the season takes a lot out but our hearts are full.

First, we want to thank each and every player and family who participated in our league. We value you and hope that we demonstrated that during the season.

Next, we want to thank the coaches and their families for allowing them to give up weeks of their time to coach and mentor our young players.

We would like to thank our volunteers, especially our daughter, Brittany, who took hundreds of pictures during the season and took family pictures at the banquet. It is her pictures that are featured in the season end video, and there were some amazing shots. We also want to thank Mrs. Lagrone and Mrs. Morgan for their support and for always being willing to help where needed and for offering words of encouragement.

We would like to thank our referees, Jack, Frank, and Robert who always do an outstanding job.

We would also like to thank the City of Alexandria for providing us with a place to play and for the upkeep during the season. Thank you for supporting youth in our community.

We want to thank the families who donated water, snacks, funds, and at the banquet, their time. Whatever your contribution, we are very grateful. During the 6 weeks that we played, we had a variety of snacks for each game for every player. In addition, we were able to feed everyone who wanted to eat at the banquet.

We want to thank Penrod Media for an outstanding season end video. The video captured the experiences during the season and the music was on point. If you haven’t seen the video, please do so. It is on our FB page and also on You Tube. Just type in our name to locate the video.

We want to thank OnPoint Talk Show for supporting our efforts and for discussing our program on their show.

We would like to thank Trinity Baptist Church for allowing us to host our banquet at their facility. Their hospitality is humbling and we greatly appreciate them.

We would like to thank Taurean and BJ’s Pizza in Alexandria for the delicious pizza at the banquet.

We would like to thank Coach Graham and his family and the LCU coaching staff and players for our LCU experience. That was definitely a highlight this season.

We would like to thank our local schools for providing information about our football program to the parents.

We would like to thank our donors for their support of our program and the youth in our community.

In closing, we want to thank our Heavenly Father for making all this possible and providing the resources that were needed during the season. We could not do this without him.
