We are so close to our golden milestone as we celebrate our 50th recital June 20! We hope to see a lot of alumni!!
Since July 2025 on this page there has been a weekly look back at the last 49 recitals. Now we have reached 2025!! Every program has brought back a flood of great memories. A lot changed throughout the eras but the family of CCDS is strong and the future is bright!!

For the past 50 weeks we have been going through the archives of the last 50 years of Chris Collins Dance Studio! This week we are up to 2024!! What era of CCDS do you remember??

The 50th anniversary Showtime for Chris Collins Dance Studio will be held at South County high school on Saturday, June 20. We hope to see some alumni, and there is a reception prior to the evening show. 1. 50th Anniversary Alumni Celebration
We will be celebrating 50 years of CCDS with a 50th Anniversary Alumni Celebration that all are invited to (including current dancers and families) in the South County cafeteria from 3:30-5:30 pm. This is between the 2nd and 3rd recital. Yummy food will be served! 2. 50th Anniversary Photo book
We are creating a photobook for Mr. Chris to celebrate 50 years of Chris Collins Dance Studio! Please take a few minutes to create a page for our memory book. I know he will love to see your photos and messages! 3. 50th Anniversary Alumni Photos and Videos
Do you have photos and videos from your former life as a CCDS dancer? We’d love to include them in a slide show as part of the 50th recital. Please submit them via this link by June 12th to be included.

Calling all alumni!! We have looked back weekly at the last fifty years of CCDS! It started last July and we are counting down to June 20, 2026 - our 50th recital!! Please share with anyone who danced at CCDS through the years! It is right around the corner and this week we feature 2023-Curtain up! If you have photos or memories please share them!!

Since July 2025 we have been throwing it back weekly at each of the past 50 years at Chris Collins Dance Studio! We are now at 2022! After having no show due to covid in 2020 and teaching on zoom and dancing in masks in a hotel ballroom in 2021, our dancers were Fired Up to get back on stage!! They burnt up the dance floor in 2022!! Do you have any photos or memories to share?? Any alumni who want to come to our 50th Showtime on June 20, we would love to see you!!

Since July 2025 on this page, there has been a weekly retrospective of the last 50 years of CCDS. Now we are already up to 2021, which was actually our 45th year!!
Due to Covid, no schools would rent out any auditoriums. We were bound and determined to have a show so we rented a ballroom at the Hilton and as they say, the Show must go on! It wasn’t quite the same as our regular showtime productions, but we were thrilled to get our dancers the chance to perform!
If anybody from any era of CCDS has any memories or photos to share for our 50th, we love to see them. If any alumni are interested in coming to our 50th show on June 20, let us know so we can save you a complimentary ticket!
