Any evening on the golf course - what could be better?

We had the honor of hosting the 2026 Special Olympics Regional North golf event today. Over 80 athletes and unified partners participated. We had a great group of volunteers who helped us make the day a success. Thank you to everyone who came out to help out and to those who participated! This is an event we love hosting each year!

We had our first hole-in-one of the 2026 season during Tuesday Men’s League!

Congratulations to Robert Rosburg of Alexandria, who aced hole #17 from 148 yards with a 7-iron. Robert made the shot while playing with his son-in-law, Colby Benson, in a match against Larry and Pete Bruzek.

As if the hole-in-one wasn’t exciting enough, it capped off an incredible week for Robert. On Monday afternoon he received the wonderful news that he is cancer free!

Congratulations Robert on an unforgettable week! We wish you continued good health and many more great rounds of golf!

We were thrilled to celebrate Tom yesterday as he was honored as the 2025 Faculty Promoter of the year for Public Courses.

Tom has dedicated his life to growing the game of golf. Through clinics, tournaments, and coaching he has introduced the sport to the younger generation. Tom and Patti also deeply care about inclusivity and giving back, and host tournaments for the Special Olympics and for fundraisers to support Alzheimer’s research.

We believe at that golf should be accessible and open to all those who want to play, and we are honored to have Tom and Patti leading our golf course.

It’s been many close calls to start the 2026 season, but we think Sunday is the day! ⛳️

We’ll have the driving range open Saturday at noon, plus the TV on for The Masters Tournament if you want to get some swings in before opening day.

We officially open Sunday at 11:00 — we’re ready for the season to begin!
