Classical and Contemporary Pilates private and semi-private sessions on the Pilates apparatus & CoreAlign. No two bodies are the same, and our mission is to work with each person as an individual with unique needs and goals.Our Old Town Alexandria location is inside the Capital Beltway convenient to public transportation(King St. & Braddock Rd.

New year, new sign 🎉

The intra-abdominal pressure created by breathing empowers, stabilizes, and improves accuracy in all activities. Your breath moves you and your movement breathes you! I will say this again and again because it is so easily “forgotten”, if it is ever even known at all. It is the coordination of the two that creates balance in the body. And mind. And spirit. Joe Pilates could not have said any more about this, nor shown us any more what he was asking from his method. Move to breathe. Breathe to move. It’s an art. It’s a science. It is life. 10/08/2024
