Sediment Press is an illustration and screen printing company founded in 2011 by Charles Robertson and Tim Lovelace operating in Washington, D.C and Alexandria, VA. and Alexandria, VA. Always looking for new and interesting projects, some of their more recent efforts include decorative wooden panels for Boundary Road Restaurant in DC as well as package design and box printing for Handmade Tea LLC.
Charles has a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of New Orleans with a major's thesis in Sculpture under Christopher Saucedo. He apprenticed under sculptor Srdjan Loncar in 2006 and under Thomas Bruno in 2008. He further studied atelier methods under Auseklis Ozols at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts; Robert Liberace at the Art League in Alexandria, VA; and Natasha Mokina and Victor Pakhomkin of the Winter Palace Studio, DC. He has been doing freelance graphic design and illustration since 2005. in Graphics and Multimedia from California University of Pennsylvania where he studied printing and photography. He has worked at ColorCraft of Virginia and is currently employed at Digilink-Inc, in Alexandria, as the Digital CSR Manager. We illustrate and silkscreen art prints, gig posters, product packaging, greeting cards, wedding invitations, bookmarks, and pretty much anything we can get our hands on. If it stands still, we can print on it.
