The APLL spring season finally wrapped last night as the 10-12 All Star team finished play in the District tournament.

This was the first All Star team APLL has fielded in several years and the kids represented the league well against top competition.

Registration for the Fall 2026 season is open now! Sign up by July 7 for a $25 Early Bird Discount.

Tentative Dates for the fall season:

June 7: Registration Opens
August 15: Registration Closes
August 17: Minors/Majors Practices Start
August 24: Coach Pitch/Tee Ball Practices Start
September 8: Games Start
October 31: Season Ends

Congrats to the APLL team on its victory in the 8-10 Fun Tournament Championship Game! The team put in a ton of work and it showed on the field, as they outscored their opponents 62-19 over five games.

And thanks to the 10-12 All Stars who showed up to cheer them on! They provided a burst of energy just when the team needed it.

Our Pitch, Hit, & Run competition will be on Saturday from 10am-12pm. Log into your account at www.apllbaseball.org to register! There are divisions for players ages 5-12.

West Potomac baseball and softball will be hosting youth nights tomorrow, April 17 at 6:30 pm (baseball) and 6:00 pm (softball). Most APLL players are zoned for West Potomac and several former APLL players are on the current teams. Wear your APLL jersey and stop by to show your support!

Majors kicked off their season last night with a game between a game under the lights between the Yankees and Expos! The kids played great, battling to an 8-8 tie.

On Saturday we held a joint practice for all three majors teams. Seven coaches ran stations for hitting, fielding, catching, and pitching. We ended with a two inning scrimmage to get everyone ready for the season. Games start on Wednesday!
