We already miss you! It’s true. Power Nectar Yoga in its Alexandria, Virginia location is permanently closed. And even though we didn’t have the type of goodbye we had envisioned if/when the time ever came, we are grateful for a million magical memories! Our fearless leader and studio owner has had a family emergency that is taking every second of her attention at the moment. We thank you for many years of your love and support! We're preparing to launch some new yoga offerings that we know you will love in true Nectar style. It’s not goodbye…it’s see you later!

The final Om has been chanted in our brick-and-mortar Alexandria, Virginia location, which is now permanently closed. Our leader is out of the office indefinitely for a family emergency so we thank you for your kindness and patience. This is real life…it’s messy and real and at times, unplanned. But we thank you for your patience and understanding in graciously allowing all things to happen in their own time. We'll have new yoga opportunities coming to you when the dust settles. And we are eternally grateful for the last 5 years of powerful community we have built with you at Power Nectar Yoga. It’s not goodbye…it’s see you later!

After 10 years of brick-and-mortar Nectar Yoga sweetness, Power Nectar Yoga has permanently closed its Alexandria location effective immediately. We’d always hoped that if/when the time came, we would go out with a bang and a big celebration. But life had other plans, as it often does. Our studio owner is dealing with an urgent family emergency. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate these uncharted waters. And a special thank you for 5 amazing years of memories, experiences, community, and Oms. Stay tuned for more information on future Virtual Nectar Yoga and Nectar Yoga Studios On Wheels announcements. It’s not goodbye…it’s see you later!

Join us this Sunday, May 26th 6pm - 7pm for our Full Moon Flow. No membership required and all levels welcome! "Full Moons" are about releasing what no longer serves us, and realizing what we may need to part with each month when this luminary phase comes around. Curious to explore its monthly impact on your life? This monthly class begins with a brief explanation on the specific meaning of the current month’s Full moon (Flower Moon), followed by reflections to set your intentions, and a yin based yoga practice. Participants are invited to bring a journal and something to write with (if desired), as well as cozy clothing layers. You may use your membership or 5 class pack to attend class or purchase a $25 specialty community class pass.

Theme of the Month: Joy
MOVEMENT as a key focus for cultivating mental well-being and joy. Joy in meditation, joy in movement, and joy in the power of our community. Joy is in the mundane and the routine and the simplicity - and it is in the wild and unpredictable-crazy too.

"Joy does not simply happen to us.
We have to choose joy - and keep choosing it every day."
-Henri JM Nouwen
