I thought the Aces were going to win 80 games prior to the start of the season with everyone we had back and our additions. Instead..we didnt even win half our games. Only year Aces’ didnt make it to the championship series when I played, ‘94-‘99.

Former Aces’ pitcher, James Frisbie (‘98, ‘00-‘01) is returning back to Lincoln to manage.

We're happy to announce that James Frisbie has been hired as the new Field Manager for the 25th season of Saltdogs Baseball! A familiar face to Lincoln, Frisbie returns after serving as Lincoln’s manager in 2020 and 2021.

James brings a strong baseball mind, proven leadership, and ability to identify, recruit, and develop talent that aligns perfectly with our organization’s values and competitive goals. In addition, we're welcoming Kash Beauchamp back as the Saltdogs Hitting Coach in 2026! Beauchamp served in the same role in 2024, plus he has had numerous field manager and hitting coaching roles throughout Minor League Baseball over the last two decades.

30 years ago the Aces came back to life in the Texas-Louisiana League. If I remember correctly nearly 5,000 announced crowd packed Bringhurst Field and the foul lines and outfield warning track to watch the Opening Night.
It was an incredible experience that first year in Alexandria with an incredible group of guys.
