I have three main goals in my golf lessons.
I want my students to forget all of the myths in the swing and to use the natural motion of their bodies.
I want them to understand what is supposed to happen in the swing, why, and what the great ball strikers do.
I also want them to understand connection and how it applies not only to golf but all sports and athletic motions.
The golf swing is a simple underhanded tossing motion. It is a coordinated movement of all of the big muscles of the body.

2022 Occidental College Teams. Women’s team ranked 42nd in the NCAA - D3
Men ranked 10th. We had a tough Saturday on the first day of our conference tournament but we improved on day two. 5 more conference rounds so we have time to make up some ground. I’m very proud of these young men and women. We know where we need to improve so that’s going to be our main focus as we get ready our our trip to Northern California next Sunday- Tuesday.

Our Pasadena junior golf team has some strong players.
Hudson Jumonville led the team this week with a 2 under par round and wins the 9-11 age group. Andrew Koval fired a 1 under par score to win the 12-14 age group. We are very proud of their very impressive wins and giving our team 8 points each.
Coach Kirby 🐾 is proud of all our players.
