Transitions can be some of the most challenging times for our kids. Whether it’s waking up in the morning, getting picked up from school, or winding down at bedtime, these moments often bring out big emotions and struggles.
But why? The common thread is that these are all transitions—times when your child has to shift from one setting or activity to another. And switching gears isn’t easy!
In all these moments, your babies need your guidance. They need your help to navigate the change and learn how to transition smoothly from one part of the day to the next. By understanding the challenges they face and being present with them, you can make these times a little easier and help them develop the skills to handle transitions well.

Real and lasting self-care involves finding joy and creating a rhythm of taking care of yourself in the little things.
Maybe for you that’s putting on music that relaxes you while you cook or fold clothes. Maybe it’s taking a bath. Maybe it’s going on a walk. Maybe it’s a phone call with your best friend. And it’s gotta be spending time with God and His Word. ❤️

It’s okay for your children to see you disappointed at times, but it’s equally important for them to witness how you resolve those conflicts.
For example, “It is important for you to listen to me when I tell you it is time to turn your iPad off, but I am sorry I yelled.”
Teach them that it’s normal to have disagreements, but it’s even more essential to forgive each other and make up.

And even though we are well equipped with what God gives us, there are still many challenges that we face. Some challenges come from the lies that culture tells us, that we as Christian moms often believe. Let’s explore these misconceptions and find peace in the truth.

Hey Mom, do you ever wake up some days wondering how in the world you got here?
How did you end up with these kids, in this house, with all the craziness going on around you?!
I know it’s not just me... And in moments like these, I hear the sweet whisper of my Father.
📖 Psalm 127:3 tells us a profound truth for us moms, “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.”
Every moment you spend with your little ones is a treasure, a gift from God Himself.
Although it’s easier said than done, try to cherish the laughter, the mess, and even the challenges, for in these moments, you’re shaping the future. 💕
