Low impact doesn’t mean low effort.
Heavy barbells and high-impact training keep many people from strength work. Those people aren’t avoiding effort. They’re avoiding what the load asks of their knees, hips, and back.
EMS changes where the demand comes from. The signal recruits the muscle directly, so it can work hard without a heavy external load pressing through the joint. You move through a comfortable range, and the work is still real.
Your coach sets the intensity each session, and it builds as you adapt. That’s training, not treatment.
Strength and caution can work together.
