Texas Cricket Club presents Youth summer tournament 2022

Hiq won the toss and elected to bowl. CCA openers started positively without losing wickets but Hiq contained them very well by not giving any runs in the first 10 overs.
Their score was around 10/2 after 10 overs.
CCA middle order failed as Captain Kartikeya took a hat trick and kept them down to 25/5 at the end of 15 overs.
Second half of CCA batting is all about surviving and Hiq giving some extras. Shivank and Eshaan could survive till 30 overs as Hiq posted a total of 85 runs.
Kartikeya took 3 wickets. Sanchith, Aditi and advaith chipped with wicket a each.

Chasing 86 runs Hiq openers started cautiously and collected some runs from the bat and extras. Abhay scored 13 runs and rest of them contributed to reach the target.

Man of the match Kartikeya Kambhampati for his 3 wickets which included a HAT TRICK.

HiQ presents Summer Camp 2022

HiQ u11 played their 5th game of the season at Irving Polo ground against TCI u11 Yellows on April 16,2022.

HiQ u11 won the toss and elected to bat. Openers Karan Thakkar (9 of 13) and Aditi Praveen Kumar (57 of 70) provided a solid start with 39 runs from 3.5 overs. Once Karan got out Eashaan Thakkar(31 of 39) continued with dominating 82 run partnership in 12 overs for the 2nd wicket. In the end, HiQ U11 posted a total of 188 for loss of five wickets in the allotted 30 overs with contributions from other batters.

Chasing 189 in 30 Overs, HiQ u11 got off to a flying start with bowling - Aditi Praveen Kumar opened the bowling attack took two back to back wickets in the very first over (missed hat trick by a whisker). TCI u11 Yellows kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were reduced to 88/7 at one point. 8th wicket partnership of 79 runs between Anushka Billanuka (48* of 62) Advait Gairola (41 of 41) gave good fight. Eventually HiQ u11 bundled TCI u11 Yellows with 9 balls remaining for 180, winning the game by 8 runs with contributions from all the bowlers (Srinidhi took 2 wickets and Kartikeya, Raksh*th and Aarush chipped in with 1 wicket each).

Aditi Praveen Kumar was declared Player of the match for her all round performace - maiden half century and 3 wickets (in 6 overs). Congratulations to Aditi!!

Team HiQ won three games out five games they played and looking forward to challenges ahead..

HiQ u11 played their 3rd game of the season at BF Philips ground against FCCA Raging Bulls on 2nd April 2022.

HiQ u11 won the toss and elected to bat, lost two early wickets batting at number 3 and 4 - Eashaan(32) and Karthikeya(30) steadied the innings with a 62 run partnership. Abhay scored quick 18 runs in the end to finish at 165/5 at the end of allotted 30 overs.

HiQ bowlers were disciplined right from the start. Karan Thakkar (MoM for his 3/16 (3 overs) was the pick of the bowlers. HiQ u11 team backed the bowling with some good fielding and catching.

HiQ u11 bundled out FCCA Raging bulls for 129 runs to win the match by 36 runs.

HiQ u11 gets of the mark!!

HiQ u11 team registered their first win of the season on 26 March 2022 in NTCA u11 spring 2022 season, new team on their 2nd match having narrowly lost the first match last week by 9 runs. Team understood their mistakes and worked hard after the loss to overcome TCA u11 thunders this week.

HiQ u11 won the toss and elected to bat lost wickets at results intervals and Raksh*th (MoM for his 25* , 2 wickets and 1 catch) played a matured innings to post a decent a total of 138/8 in the allotted 30 overs.

Team needed a good start with the ball and that’s exactly what they did! First 8 overs bowled by Aditi (2 wickets) and Sanchith (2 wickets) produced only 11 runs and 4 top order wickets (including 2 wides) and spinners kept the fight going by restricting runs and taking wickets supported by some good fielding and catching. In the end, HiQ u11 won by a margin of 22 runs.

First win is always special…team is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
