What an incredible week this was to wrap up a fantastic Spring season! 🥎✨

While our tournament brackets have officially wrapped up, a highlight of our week was celebrating our entire ASA community—starting with our Recreational All-Star events. This celebration is so special because it honors standout girls chosen from every single team across our recreational age groups.

To our ASA All-Stars: Thank you for showing up, grinding, and representing your teams and our league with such heart, skill, and sportsmanship. Seeing players from all different teams come together to cheer each other on is what ASA is truly all about. This honor was so well-deserved! 🌟👏

..And the girls weren't the only ones who got to have some fun on the turf this week! We also hosted our Parent Home Run Derby and Slow Pitch Game! It was an absolute blast seeing the parents show the girls how it's done (or at least attempt to). Thank you to everyone who stepped up to the plate—though let's be honest, most of us are definitely still sore and reaching for the Tylenol and Icy Hot today! 🩹😂

We also want to give a big shout-out to all the teams who battled it out in our single-elimination playoff tournament during the last two weeks. Congratulations to this season's Champions and Finalists for putting on a great show! 🏆

Want to see a legend in the making? Meet Lyric from the Ballpark Baddies who showed out at Super Softball Saturday, taking home THREE event wins. She showed speed and won the 6U Home Run Derby. Way to represent your team!

If you wanted drama, 12U Rec delivered! The road wasn’t easy for both teams. These two first met in Round 3, where PBSA Havoc took the win. After a series of nail-biters, ASA NTX Velocity found a spark in the middle of the semi-finals against PBSA Lightning, charging to the championship and beating PBSA Havoc to force an “IF” game!

With the title on the line, PBSA Havoc rallied strong, taking the final game 9-3 to secure the gold.

Congratulations to the teams who made the championship in our Swing into Spring 8U West bracket.

These two teams became acquainted in the semifinals with the PBSA Dirt Angels knocking the ASA Southern Belles into the elimination bracket by one point. The ASA Southern Belles showed grit and made it back for a rematch in the championship game. The PBSA Dirt Angels remained undefeated in bracket.

Huge congratulations to our Swing into Spring champions and finalists in the 8U West Bracket. The ASA Pink Sox knocked the PBSA Flamingos into the elimination bracket in the first round. The PBSA Flamingos were not rattled and played an impressive FIVE games on Sunday to make it to the rematch. This game was a battle until the very last play, ending in a nail-biting, one point difference.

8U East is in the semifinals with ASA Southern Belles and PBSA Shooting Stars fighting for their championship spots. PBSA Dirt Angels have their spot in the ‘ship.

12U has ASA NTX Velocity against PBSA Lightning playing for their chance in the championship. PBSA Havoc is enjoying the shade while they wait to find out their opponent.

If anyone has a direct line to Mother Nature, please tell her she’s been walked. We’ve seen enough of her "strikes" for one day and it’s time to put the sun in the lineup and let us play ball!

Due to rain and ongoing lightning, games are delayed with a revised start time of 10:00 AM. Coaches have been notified via email, and pool schedules have been updated. A final status update will be posted at 8:30 AM regarding the 10:00 AM start.

To help keep the tournament on schedule, today’s bracket games will be played with a 60-minute finish-the-inning format. Updated schedules reflecting these changes will be posted by 12:00 PM today.

It was a rainy weekend but nothing could put a damper on the hustle and spirit of the girls who participated in 2026 Swing into Spring! Thank you so much to all of our teams for participating and congratulations to the top 2 finishers. We can’t wait to see 8U and 12U next weekend!
