The throat chakra, known as Viśuddhā in Sanskrit, is the fifth primary energy center in the classical chakra system, counted from the base of the spine upward. It is located at the pit of the throat, near the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and is traditionally associated with speech, communication, and purification.

Often referred to as a bridge, Vishuddha connects the heart’s intuitive truth to the mind’s clarity. This enables speech that is both emotionally and intellectually aligned. Many modern interpretations say that when Vishuddha is open, one speaks one’s truth with integrity, from a place of inner alignment.

🌼Makes sense of our past

Recreates the narrative: It helps you view old hardships not as pointless suffering, but as necessary lessons.

Heals regrets: Gratitude allows you to accept past mistakes because they shaped who you are today.

Finds value: It highlights the hidden silver linings in difficult memories.

🌼Brings peace for today

Quiets anxiety: Focusing on what you have right now stops you from worrying about what you lack.

Anchors attention: It grounds you in the present moment rather than letting your mind drift to complaints.

Fosters contentment: It shifts your mindset from “seeking more” to “appreciating enough.”

🌼Creates a vision for tomorrow

Builds optimism: Appreciating today’s blessings makes you excited and hopeful for future possibilities.

Attracts abundance: A positive mindset helps you spot new opportunities you might otherwise miss.

Clarifies goals: Knowing what you are grateful for helps you design a future aligned with your true values.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

💚 Theme: ANAHATA HEART CHAKRA
Awaken your capacity to love

💚 Inspiration

Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally. —Rumi

Resist the urge to close off, harden, or numb yourself when it comes to matters of the heart. It is a choice to feel rather than avoid.

The heart chakra, or anahata chakra, is one of the seven major chakras—energy centers that run up the central axis of the body. Chakras are not physical structures, but their locations are typically given in reference to corresponding areas of the body, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. The heart chakra is fourth from the base of the spine, as well as fourth from the crown of the head, making it central to the seven major chakras. Its location is said to correspond to the chest cavity where the heart itself resides.

The heart chakra is associated with love, compassion, and self-acceptance. As the center point of the seven chakras, this energy center is said to be where the physical and spiritual meet. in Sanskrit, the word anahata means “unstruck,” and when this chakra is properly “aligned,” past hurts are said to no longer harm us. When balanced, we are filled with love, compassion, and self-acceptance.

☀️Theme: Manipura SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA

Trust your inner compass

☀️Inspiration

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.”
— Brené Brown

Small acts of vulnerability are the stairway to confidence.

Intentional vulnerability means proving to yourself in small ways that you can just be yourself and nothing terrible will happen. Once you’re comfortable in your own skin, confidence becomes a much easier game.

The solar plexus chakra is the seat of your inner authority, where your ego, will, and higher self converge. It embodies action, purpose, and personal sovereignty. A healthy Manipura empowers you to not only internalize your values but to act on them, make empowered choices, follow through, and confidently assert yourself. This chakra fosters a strong sense of identity, free from the need for external validation.

On a deeper level, the solar plexus teaches that true power isn’t forceful—it’s grounded and directed. You learn to lead your life from a place of integrity rather than ego. The spiritual affirmation that aligns with this chakra is simple and strong: I can.

🌊Theme: SVADHISTHANA SACRAL CHAKRA

prioritizing flow, flexibility, and freedom.

🌊Inspiration

Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity, and change.
-BrenĂŠ Brown

Energetically, the sacral chakra sits in the lower belly, just below the navel. Physically, it governs the hips, reproductive organs, bladder, kidneys, and lower back. Its color is a rich, warm orange—sunset over water. Its element is water—fluid, emotional, and ever-moving.

Symbolized by a six-petaled lotus, the Svadhisthana chakra is the second in the traditional seven chakra system. It builds upon the foundation of the root chakra, which governs your survival needs. Once survival is secured, Svadhisthana steps in to ask: What brings you joy? How do you want to express yourself? Can you soften and receive?

• Reclined Bound Angle

To understand the meaning of the sacral chakra is to understand the importance of emotional fluidity. This chakra is related to the element of water, prioritizing flow, flexibility, and freedom. This chakra governs how well you move with life rather than resist it. It speaks to your adaptability and your creativity. Water doesn’t resist what’s in front of it. It moves; it adapts; it receives. This chakra teaches us to do the same.

I’M POSSIBLE. It’s not just clever wordplay. It’s a mindset, a commitment, a claim, a declaration that who you are is no longer defined by what you haven’t done, but by what you are now willing to believe is within reach. It’s the moment you stop waiting for proof outside of yourself and start recognizing that the possibility has always lived inside you.

Yin yoga is a great balance to Vinyasa because Vinyasa builds strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility through active movement, Yin improves joint mobility, repairs connective tissues, and fosters mental stillness, preventing overtraining.

Key benefits include:

🧘🏼‍♀️Connective Tissue Repair: Vinyasa focuses on muscles, whereas Yin targets deep connective tissues (ligaments, joints, fascia), providing a complete physical overhaul.

🧘🏼‍♀️Deep Flexibility: By holding passive poses for 3-5+ minutes, Yin allows for increased flexibility in areas like the hips and spine, which can be restricted by repetitive strengthening work.

🧘🏼‍♀️Nervous System Regulation: Yin activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest), calming the body after the high-energy, sympathetic-driven stress of a fast-paced Vinyasa flow.

🧘🏼‍♀️Mental Stillness: Yin teaches patience and mindfulness through silence, acting as a meditative counterpart to the intense, breath-to-movement focus of Vinyasa.

Human resilience is remarkably flexible, allowing you to endure extreme emotional or physical weight without breaking. Similar to bamboo, which bends significantly under pressure rather than snapping, you can adapt to intense life challenges (hardships, grief, stress) by being flexible rather than rigid.

In yoga we bend so we don’t break. The ability to bend means adapting to circumstances, absorbing the shock of a crisis, and rising back up, rather than shattering.

Feeling heavy lately? Take a breath and find some movement. Things will shift soon.
