Great match against the top side in Super Copa. We came up a goal short in the last minute of play but proud of the boys effort. For those that watch please let me know if the 2nd FCD goal was offside. We lost our GK in the first 15 minutes with a boot to the head. We fought we defended and held our own this time around. Some good growth and learning from the last time we played them. Great games boys and let's get them next time.

What a weekend of this beautiful game. The boys got in a little trouble by not handling their 3rd round robin game and instead of being the 1st wild card ended up being the third wild card. Which meant we had to play the top team in the tourney twice. We show up and my two Centre backs were unable to play and we found ourselves with an extremely short bench late in a tourney against the best team in the tourney. I don't think we had a more motivated bunch of boys then we did the second time we played them this weekend and found ourselves up 1 nil against them after 15 minutes of play. They were all over us but we didn't bend our break and with less than a minute left we unfortunately gave up a corner and all that watch this beautiful game know the last 5 and first five are when things happen and the corner was perfectly executed and horribly defended to leave us a tied 1-1 at the half. The boys didn't falter they kept and met the pressure for another 15 and it looked as though the game was to go to pens. Unfortunately a mistake at around the 15 minute mark cause another goal. I think we were getting tired and the short bench got to us and the better team got to us as well. The game ended with a counter when we were pressing to score. Looking forward to getting back to work watching the film crying over what could have been as I look through the bracket and see our form knowing that that win could have propelled us to the finals. BVB we will see you again in league I thought the 3rd time would have been a charm but the I fell the 4th time will be that charm. I know the saying doesn't go like that but I always mess up sayings.
