Here’s a simpler Instagram-friendly version:
Meet Coach Maury 👊
Coach Maury has been involved in martial arts since he was six years old, with experience across taekwondo, Muay Thai, boxing, MMA, and Jiu jitsu.
Over the years, he’s trained under respected coaches across Texas, competed in MMA and grappling, and helped develop amateur and professional fighters.
His background in powerlifting and strength training also gives him a unique approach to coaching, helping students build technique, athleticism, and confidence at the same time.
We’re proud to have Coach Maury bringing his experience and knowledge to the mats at GymJitsu Allen.
I can also make it a little more family-focused and welcoming for parents looking at GymJitsu for the first time.

Monday means one thing: back on the mats.
For the kids, it’s another chance to build confidence, discipline, and learn how to keep going when things get hard.
For the adults, it’s a chance to reset, sharpen your skills, and start the week doing something that makes you better.
You don’t have to be perfect today.
Just show up, put in the work, and leave a little better than you came in.
See you on the mats.

Another day on the mats.
Learning, drilling, competing, and getting a little better every round.
Jiu Jitsu has a way of teaching you that progress doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it’s one position, one detail, or one small win at a time.
Just keep showing up.
