All of tomorrow’s games are postponed due to the remnants of the hurricane coming in and a >90% chance of rain all day. The executive board will work on a backup plan with the assistance of organizational reps and the availability of lighted fields to play as many games during the week as possible. We will release this plan by tomorrow afternoon so all teams are aware of when they will be playing.

Congrats to all teams whose season came to an end today. There were some outstanding games being played all around the league and we are proud of all the players! Good luck to all still alive and stay dry the next couple of days!

⚾🏆 IT'S PLAYOFF WEEKEND! 🏆⚾

A big thank you to all of our PYL players, coaches, parents, and volunteers for the hard work and dedication you've shown throughout the season. From Biddy through Majors, we're excited to see our teams compete this weekend and celebrate a great year of baseball.

📸 Championship Team Photos With championship games taking place at multiple locations, PYL representatives may not be able to attend every game. Please send your team photos through Facebook Messenger so we can recognize all of our championship participants and winners.
As we head into playoff weekend, let's continue to make PYL baseball a positive experience for everyone involved.

❤️ Remember why we're here. These games are important to our players, but the lessons they learn about sportsmanship, teamwork, effort, resilience, and respect will last far beyond the final score. Our players are always watching how adults respond to both success and adversity.

⚾ Respect the game and everyone involved. Coaches, players, parents, and umpires all play an important role in creating a positive environment. Not every call or play will go the way we hope, but we ask everyone to show respect and composure throughout the weekend. As a reminder, any questions regarding game administration should come from the Head Coach.

Most importantly, let's keep the focus where it belongs: on the kids competing, learning, and having fun.

Thank you to everyone who helps make PYL baseball possible.

Good luck to all teams this weekend. Play hard, have fun, and represent your organization proudly! ⚾

The spring season just wrapped up a few weeks ago, but we are already looking ahead to another exciting fall baseball season.

To sign up for fall baseball, connect with your local organization.

PYL made some changes for the fall season to better align age cutoffs with grade levels.

This realignment encourages more competition and development for our players by ensuring they are competing against other athletes in their peer group. Of course, playing up to a higher age level is encouraged for our players seeking an addition challenge.

This change aligns with Little League and USSSA softball - 2 of the largest governing bodies in sports.

Contact your local org if you have any additional questions about age cutoffs and changes.

Announcing - PYL Umpire of the Year

We are absolutely thrilled to announce Frank Rivera as this year’s PYL Umpire of the Year! Holding a stellar 4.23 out of 5 average rating across his evaluations, Frank has truly been the gold standard for our officiating crew.

Coaches routinely praise his accuracy, fairness, and deep professionalism. But Frank’s impact goes far deeper than just the rulebook. Even while facing some personal health scares this season, his commitment to our league never wavered. He continued to show up for the kids game after game, putting his heart into the game and serving as an incredible role model of resilience, grit, and selflessness.

Whether he was taking extra time to patiently teach our brand-new pitchers the ropes, or stepping up to call a high-stakes pitcher's duel entirely on his own during our mid-season umpire shortages, Frank brought 100% dedication to every single inning. He is the kind of umpire who lifts the energy of the entire field just by stepping onto it. One coach perfectly summed up the league's sentiment, writing that Frank is a class act who “should be the standard all other umpires are judged against in the PYL.”

Frank, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your tough spirit, and everything you do for our players and community. Congratulations!

We are recruiting umpires for the upcoming fall season. Help us spread the word - Visit and follow Lehigh Valley Blue Krew for more information
