The sun will be shining & a great day for our last Mini Vikes Flag Football game of the 2026 season. Please note the changes in time for your specific team and that each team will compete in two games.

Well… after spending an entire season trying to outsmart the weather, we’ve officially accepted defeat.

Due to tomorrow looking like an inevitable washout, all Mini Vikes games are canceled. The good news? We’re gearing up for some fun next week!

Our tournament will take place next Saturday, May 30th. Updated schedule & bracket to follow soon.

AND because our athletes deserve a little something sweet after battling through this crazy spring season…Thursday’s practice will end with ICE CREAM SUNDAES for all players!

At this point, we’re convinced every time we make a weather call, Mother Nature does the opposite… so naturally we’re expecting a PERFECT Memorial Day weekend now.

We really tried to push through and have practice tonight with this weekends projected forecast, but due to the continued wet field conditions, the City of Allentown Parks & Recreation Department has officially closed all fields this evening for safety and field preservation.

That means tonight’s Mini Vikes practice is CANCELLED.

We know the kids were ready to get after it tonight, but muddy fields + cleats + nonstop energy usually equals a highlight reel nobody wants 😅

Take the night to rest up, stretch out, and maybe run a few backyard drills if the rain gives you a break. We’ll be back at it soon and ready to roll. 💚💛

Alright Mini Vikes families… we’re making the call (again 😅).

Due to rain in the forecast and fields that are already very saturated, we’re going to cancel today’s flag football practice. As much as we love the idea of mud bowls, safety has to come first—and right now those fields are more “slip ‘n slide” than football-ready.

Now, based on our track record… there’s about a 73% chance it magically turns into a beautiful, sunny day the second we hit “post.” So if that happens—you all better get outside, run around, throw the ball, and get some Mini Vikes reps in!
