🥊 Something interesting for our Rock Steady community!
We came across this wearable technology designed to provide rhythmic vibrations at the wrist and thought it was worth sharing—especially for those dealing with tremors and other Parkinson’s symptoms.
Research into the BeechBand and similar technology is still developing, so it’s not a proven treatment, but it’s exciting to see new ideas being explored for people living with Parkinson’s. 🧠⌚
Has anyone tried something like this? We’d love to hear about your experience!

The FDA has cleared a next-generation wearable device designed to help manage hand tremors in people with Parkinson’s disease.
The Cala kIQ Plus system is a wrist-worn neurostimulation device that delivers therapy through electrical stimulation of nerves in the arm. According to the company, the updated device features new therapy modes and adaptive calibration to provide a more personalized tremor-management experience. Researchers and developers hope these advancements will give patients greater control over how and when therapy is delivered while helping optimize tremor relief.

🥊 No Rock Steady Boxing today! 🥊
We’re taking a short break today while Coach Dori enjoys some well-deserved vacation time and Coach Nicole celebrates her son’s 4th birthday! 🎉🎂
Take today to recharge, get outside for a walk, practice your BIG movements, or throw a few air punches at home (just don’t scare the neighbors 😉).
We’ll be back in action Wednesday, ready to work hard, laugh together, and keep getting stronger.
Until then… keep fighting, keep moving, and remember—every punch, every step, and every effort counts. See you Wednesday, Rock Steady family! 💙🥊

🥊 Another great week with our Rock Steady Boxing crew!
Every class brings plenty of hard work, determination, laughter, and a few well-earned high-fives. Whether we’re throwing punches, working on balance, building strength, or encouraging each other to keep going, this team shows up ready to give it their best.
Progress doesn’t happen overnight—it happens one punch, one round, and one workout at a time. 💪
Keep showing up. Keep challenging yourself. Keep boxing. Most importantly…keep having fun! 🥊❤️

Our fighters show up, put in the work, support one another, and continue to prove that you can fight back.

Exercise tells your brain to release more of the chemical that helps with movement and motivation, and over time, it helps your brain use that chemical more efficiently🥊🥊🥊

Ten years ago, we held our very first Rock Steady Boxing class — and just like today, a snowstorm showed up too ❄️🥊
I remember being so nervous that day… wondering who would come, how it would go, and what this program might become.
A decade later, we’re still here. Still showing up. Still fighting back.So grateful for every boxer, coach, caregiver, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
Here’s to 10 years strong — and many more rounds ahead 🥊🥊🥊
