A recent study of 102 children ages 4–6 found promising evidence that creative dance may support skills connected with independence, self-expression and self-control.

In the creative-dance classes, children were not simply asked to copy movements. They also had opportunities to choose, imagine, explore and create.

That is something we celebrate at Lua Dance Club! Our students receive caring guidance while also having space to express their personalities and enjoy movement in their own way.

No competitions. No pressure to be perfect. Just joyful learning, creativity and a welcoming place where every child’s ideas matter. 💛

🩰🌎 Ready to dance around the world?

The choreography video for “Five Ballet Steps Around the World” is now on YouTube! 🎉

Dance along with Ms. Lucy, practice five ballet steps, and count in Portuguese, French, Spanish, Japanese, and English—all through our very own Lua original song! 💜

Let’s keep the dancing and learning going at home! ✨

🍂🎃 Thank you to everyone who joined us for Fallween at Lua last week! It made me so happy to see our dancers bring their friends to class and dance together to our very own “Vamos Sambar” and “Mermaid Friends”! 💃🧜‍♀️

A big obrigada to our teachers for making every class feel like a celebration. We love you, Lua families! 🧡

With love,
Ms. Lucy

🐚 Ring, ring… your shellphone is ringing! 🧜‍♀️ The mermaids are calling, and they want to dance with YOU!

“The Mermaid Shellphone Dance,” one of Lua’s five original bilingual songs, now has a dance-along video on YouTube! Sway your hips, spin around, and jump over the waves with Ms. Lucy. Then show us how you shake those fins! 🌊

▶️ Find “The Mermaid Shellphone Dance” on Lua Dance Club’s YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/nlzTh3YDogo?feature=shared. Grab a friend and turn your living room into a mermaid beach party! Vamos dançar! 💛
