My flow state & email are not besties😅🤣

I’m proud of my life and I’m not afraid to admit:

1. People are impressed I wake up at 4am but the truth is I couldn’t sleep in if I tried. Waking up late makes me feel behind and that feeling is unbearable for me.

2. I am VERY uncomfortable not being in a hurry. Even filling up my kids’ water bottles stresses me out because it takes too long.

3. A random email or a form I forgot to fill out can make me panic.
My brain somehow registers it as taking me away from my success.

4. My husband cleans our house almost every night and I’m embarrassed by how much this bothers me. Part of me still thinks BUT I’M THE WOMAN. Shouldn’t I naturally have more capacity for this??

5. My mom didn’t work when I was growing up and sometimes I wish she did. I feel guilty even typing that. I think having something that was hers outside of being our mom would’ve been really good for her.

6. I struggle talking to women who aren’t in business because I genuinely have NO IDEA what we’re talking about. I don’t know our flag football league or our vacation hotel. My husband handles so much of the logistics of our life.

7. I literally don’t know how to clean. I was raised to focus on sports and school while everything else was handled... and I basically recreated that life as an adult.

8. I am sort of obsessed with growing my hair back after losing SO much after my third baby. After everything I went through that year, growing it back feels like proof that | came back better.

9. I’m a believer and sometimes I still go to a podcast before I go to Jesus. I have to remind myself: Macy. Pray first. Open your Bible first.
You don’t need another tool.

I’m so happy with my life while still figuring out parts of myself I don’t really understand.
