Oakfield had a blast at the Bill Russell Memorial, it was a great weekend full of lots of success and progress!🤘

🏆Flaherty Collins and V for Vendetta Z were champion in the Jr/Am 1.10s, winners of the classic, and were awarded Best Turned Out Jumper of the show!

🏆Amanda Jordan joined us for the week aboard True Story and were champion in the .85s getting only blues and reds the entire weekend!

🏆Erin Martin’s Unconditional was champion in the 3’/3’3 Greens with Michael, and reserve champion in Low Adults with Erin!

🏆Jus de Jenius and Harper House had great rounds in their first time out in the Short Stirrup divison!

🏆Alex Martin’s Attender and Michael were reserve in the Performance Hunters!

A very successful 2 weeks at New Directions at Chatt Hills for the Oakfield team!

Alexandra Martin's Attender taking champion in the 3'6" performance hunters week 1, piloted by Michael Allen.

Erin Martin's Unconditional stepping up to the 3'3" greens these past two weeks, earning top ribbons the first week and champion the second week. Also earning great prizes in the low adult hunters with his mom, and taking second in the low adult classic.

Flaherty Collins' V is for Vendetta Z taking champion in the 1.10m JR/AM division, and earning a 5th in the NAL 1.10m classic.

Melissa Jackson Morris' Central Star earning a reserve championship in the 1.0m JR/AM division and a 4th in the classic week 2, and great prizes the first week.

Polly Schaefer Johnson's Elated earning a championship in the USHJA 2'9"/3'0 hunters with Michael, and top prizes in the low adult hunter division, and also winning the low adult classic.
Elizabeth Hoback's Nashville van der Kleinheide taking great prizes in the 1.0m JR/AM jumpers, and earning a 2nd in the classic.

And after a hiatus from the ring for a little over a year, True Story returning back with the .80m jumpers, piloted by Katherine Gregory for the week, laying down clear rounds all week. Thank you to Stephanie Bowers for having Katherine come down to the show and being a part of the team! Your help was well appreciated!

The biggest congratulations to Sloan Everett and Summit’s Stella Luna on a great Pony Finals! The two were 15th in the o/f and 21st overall in the large green ponies! All of your hard work paid off, you absolutely deserve it!🎉🤘

A great two weeks in Gulfport(weeks 3 and 4)!

Michael and Attender took on the 3'6 greens, receiving great ribbons both weeks. This lovely horse has been game for anything put in his direction!

Reese Favoccia and Belvedere were solid in the older children's hunters, receiving great scores and ribbons through both weeks, and ending up reserve champion the second week. Great job!

Sloan Everett and Summit's Stella Luna were rock stars both weeks in the large ponies. First week reserve champion, and second week winner of the pony classic! She even tackled her first real pony derby!

Avery Vanantwerp and her jumper Archer were great in the low children's jumpers, winning great prizes in the week and 4th in the NAL classic. She held the top spot for most of the class, but some days someone is faster! Great riding Avery!

Alexandra Martin and Attender also took on the 3'3 junior hunters, and despite being a little under the weather, she got some great prizes in the division and 5th in the classic in a field of great horses!

A great start to the 2024 season, and congratulations to everyone for a successful 2 weeks!

The finale to the 2023 show season was a success! So proud of our small but mighty team at GHJA Finals!

The ponies brought it home with stellar rounds throughout the weekend! Sloan Everett and Summit’s Stella Luna were champion in the large pony division, and Hadley DeRue and Forget Me Not also championed in the short stirrup division, both out of large, competitive groups! Molly King and Jayvyn had great rounds in the long stirrup including a win in the undersaddle🥇🏆

So proud of the progress of each horse and rider this year and excited to see continued growth next show season!🤘
