COME BELONG.
In a world that feels increasingly disconnected, we still believe in community.
We still believe in handshakes.
We still believe in teammates becoming lifelong friends.
We still believe in gathering together after training.
We still believe in belonging to something bigger than ourselves.
Rugby is what brings us together.
The club is what keeps us together.
Players. Families. Supporters. Alumni. Volunteers. Friends.
There is a place for you here.
Come belong.

Big addition to the Rebels family.
Please welcome our new coach to Rebels Rugby YouthGA.
A North Fulton local and former Alpharetta Phoenix, Georgia Barbarians, and Exiles RFC player, he brings both experience and a real passion for growing the game in our community.
“Local rugby matters to me. Helping players reach their full potential while building a strong rugby culture in North Fulton is something I genuinely care about.”
We’re excited for what’s ahead. 🏉🔥
Welcome,

Looking for something to do on a Thursday night?
Looking for a place to belong?
Walk up. Say hi. Join in.
Thursday Night Touch Rugby is open to everyone. Men and women. Rugby players and non-rugby players. No tackling. No pressure. No experience required. No cost.
If you’ve never touched a rugby ball before, that’s perfectly okay.
Come learn a new sport. Meet new people. Have a laugh.
Maybe you become a player. Maybe you become a social member. Maybe you’re simply looking for a community to be part of.
After touch rugby, we’ll head over to Olde Blind Dog for the Exiles Thursday Night Social.
Because rugby is more than a game.
It’s a place where people don’t just join.
They belong.
Unus ex nobis.

Weather Update
Due to forecasted weather, poor field conditions, and a Flood Watch for our area, we are postponing the launch of Exiles Tuesday Kids Touch Rugby until Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 PM.
Our goal is for every child’s first Exiles experience to be fun, safe, and memorable for all the right reasons.
We look forward to meeting our newest Exiles next Tuesday! 🏉💚💛
No cost. Ages 5–14. Everyone welcome.

Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.
Their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty made possible the freedoms we enjoy today.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Belonging.
That is what a rugby club is supposed to provide.
Alpharetta is a growing community. People arrive here from all over the country and all over the world to build lives, careers, businesses, friendships, and families.
Exiles Rugby Club reflects that reality.
More than a team, we are a community institution. A place where people from different backgrounds and different walks of life come together behind the same shield.
If you’re looking for a place to belong, we’d love to meet you.
Because rugby is more than a game.
Many nations. One shield.
We Are Alpharetta.

Cool community sports moment from a recent Exiles training session.
Former Atlanta Brave Tyler Flowers and U18 National Team manager Rick Eckstein came over to introduce themselves to Exiles Rugby Club president Steve Mace while separate training sessions were taking place side by side in Alpharetta.
One of the best things about local sport is how often different games, coaches, players, and organizations end up crossing paths in shared community spaces.
A genuinely cool and organic moment between people involved in growing sport and mentoring athletes in their own respective worlds.
Interestingly enough, Exiles RFC has a number of former baseball players within the club as well, including some who competed at a high youth and high school level before eventually finding rugby.
We appreciate them coming by to say hi.

What does ‘growing the game’ actually mean? How is it really done?
It means somebody cared enough to introduce you to their club.
Someone showed you the game.
The culture.
The camaraderie.
Because despite all the technology in the world, rugby still grows the same way it always has.
Person to person.
We spend so much time putting rugby on social media, only for it to mostly end up in front of people already involved in rugby.
Real growth happens out in the world.
Talking to people about your club.
Inviting somebody to give rugby a chance.
Building relationships with local businesses.
Working with local governments.
Volunteering in your community.
A friend bringing a friend.
That is how clubs are built.
Grow. Survive and thrive for generations.
Imagine what this sport would look like if every person in rugby made one real effort each week to speak to somebody about their club, from social players to old boys and girls, yes, even you elite players.
The game was handed to us by people who cared enough to grow it.
Now it is our turn. Get it done, club rugby.

A 20-year-old, five-year rugby veteran just starting out in life congratulating a 40-year-old fireman and rookie after his first-ever rugby match.
That’s club rugby.
Not contracts. Not hype. Not rankings. Not curated social media identities pretending this is a professional sport.
Winning matters. Competition matters. If it didn’t, nobody would keep score. But if someone tells you winning is all that matters, they’re lying to you and to themselves.
It’s people from completely different stages of life standing side by side for the same club, the same teammates, and the same community.
That’s what built this game long before anyone tried to turn it into something else.
This is club rugby.
This is Exiles Rugby.
