Today we dropped a spotlight story on our blog for long-time GRIT athlete, Lily Kimball 🐻🥎

As GRIT instructor and owner, Jason Adam Little, says, “we share stories like this because 1. We are SO PROUD of Lily and 2. Because we believe every softball family deserves to see what’s possible when a young athlete commits to their development over the long haul.”

Lily’s journey is so inspiring, including recent features in Line Drive Media and her commitment to continue playing softball at Brown University. Be sure to check out the full blog article, link in story!

Congratulations Lily, we are all cheering you on!

“Time is a thief.” 🥹
In what feels like a blink, somehow these three went from feeder softball players to Cambridge High School seniors.
Jason coached Abigail, Alyssa and Lily from their feeder years through HS and has been their one and only hitting coach. Years of lessons, thousands of swings - good days, hard days, big goals, big moments - and a whole lot of growing up along the way.
Tonight when all three girls included Coach Jason in their Senior Night speeches, they got him pretty choked up. ❤️🖤
And in true Coach Jason fashion, he couldn't let Senior Night go by without a little competition. 😂
He offered all three girls $50 if they hit a home run tonight.
Lily collected - and Abigail and Alyssa also mashed multiple hits 💣🥎
Congratulations, girls. What an honor it’s been, not just being your hitting coach, but being able to be a part of this chapter of your lives.
Time really does fly. ❤️🥎

Please join us in congratulating GRIT athlete, Isla Wells, on her commitment to continue her academic and softball journey at Worcester Polytechnic Institute 🙌 with a special message from Jason Adam Little:

Isla, this picture shows the success of a player making their dream happen, but doesnt show all the hard work and stressful moments with injuries that would make most athletes break and give up. You defined what it means to have grit. You set a Goal of making it to college to play, you were Resilient and didn’t let any set backs or injuries stop you, and you had Integrity the whole way through and worked hard behind the scenes when there was no one looking or cheering. And last, you never lost your tenacity- the fire in your heart to reach that goal and go out and make your dream happen. Isla, you are GRIT.

Congratulations and heres to 4 more years of you crushing it on the diamond. Love you kid

🌟 GRIT GREATNESS: Meet McKinley🌟

Seven years of GRIT. 💪🥎

McKinley started training at GRIT when she was just 8 years old- now 15 and playing center field for the Georgia Bombers, she credits GRIT with helping her grow into a stronger and more powerful hitter.

Her favorite part about training at GRIT ⬇️

🖤❤️ Everyone feels like family. ❤️🖤

We’re so proud to be part of your journey, McKinley! 🥎💥

GRIT instructors just hit different. 💪

And we’re not talking about BP. 😉

They know your name. They know your goals. They know what you’re working toward and what it’s going to take to get there.

They coach you. Challenge you. Celebrate the wins with you. And genuinely care about the athlete beyond the lesson.

At GRIT, you don’t just find an instructor.

You find coaches who are invested in you. You find your GRIT family. ❤️🖤

Fall season loading… ⏳⚾🥎

While everyone else sees the games, we see the important work that happens BEFORE them.

The extra swings.
The practice behind the plate.
The small adjustments that turn into big moments.

All summer long, athletes have been putting in the work at GRIT to show up ready for fall.

The season happens out there. The work happens HERE.
