�This Drill Fixes Your Sprint Mechanics Fast

The single leg cycling drill is one of the most effective tools in speed training. 🚀

Research in sprint biomechanics shows that faster athletes produce shorter ground contact times (often under 0.10–0.12s at max velocity) and more efficient leg cycle mechanics. If your leg cycle is delayed, your speed leaks.

This drill improves single leg cycle rhythm and coordination, which directly impacts stride frequency and force application.

When combining the leg movement (low level bounding) with sprinting arm action, rhythm and coordination must be synchronized. The nervous system thrives on timing — not just power.
Studies on sprint mechanics highlight that arm drive can influence lower-body rhythm, reinforcing a faster leg cycle through neuromuscular coupling. 🔥
