Watch a game closely. ⚽️
You sprint on one leg. You shoot on one leg. You change direction on one leg.
Yet most programs still prioritize heavy two-legged lifting.
We train the body for the demands of the sport. Single leg strength balances the body and prevents injury while increasing propulsive power.
If you want to dominate the pitch you have to train specifically for it.

Ladder drills look cool on Instagram but they rarely transfer to the game. ⚽️
Why? Because in a ladder drill you know exactly where your feet are going.
True agility is cognitive. It requires you to see a stimulus process it and then react physically.
At Evolve we train the brain and the body to work together. We don't just teach you to move. We teach you to react.

The data is clear. A significant percentage of knee injuries in youth soccer come from poor landing mechanics and muscular imbalances.
You cannot prevent every injury but you can significantly reduce the risk.
We use the winter months to focus on deceleration and force absorption. We build the "brakes" so that when you need to stop on a dime your body can handle the load.

Parents often worry about their kids lifting weights. Yet they are happy to let them play soccer where the impact forces on the joints are up to 5x body weight.
A properly supervised strength program does not stunt growth. It actually strengthens the skeletal system and prepares the body for the demands of the sport.

The holidays are for recharging, not regressing. 📉 While rest is vital for recovery, total inactivity during the winter break sets you back weeks in your progress. We call it "detraining." Maintain your engine and your mechanics so when the season restarts, you're leading the pack, not catching up to it.
