It’s Christmas week at the studio!! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of our dancers before we go on Christmas break! Come dressed up and ready to have fun! 🎅🏻🤶🏻🎄

Day 2 for our light company Olympic boot camp! We love our dancers so much, and had the best time with them kicking off the dance season! ♥️🤍💙

We are thrilled to officially announce our Peter Pan story ballet production for 2022-2023. Any hi-light dancer that would like to participate will need to come to their specific audition time above. Dancers that audition will need to commit to Saturday rehearsals sept-Jan. Performance will be January 27-28th. We can’t wait to see this magical production come to life!

We are humbled by the amazing talent we witnessed at Company Auditions last week! Results have been sent. Congratulations to all those placed on a company. We had the most wonderful day yesterday! 4 different shows, and we were blown away by each one of them! We love all our dancers so much and truly feel like we have the very best dance family at Hi-light! Thank you for letting us teach your dancers and for your support. What an amazing end to an amazing year! (Wishing we took more pictures, but we were just living in the moment I guess! 🤗) looking forward to another amazing season!!

Shout out to our amazing seniors… we love you! We will miss you dearly and wish you all the best. You have each left your mark and we owe so much to you for your amazing example to our younger dancer! Please come visit often 🤍

Last but not least is our beautiful Kelsie! We have been so lucky to have Kelsie at Hi-Light for 11 years. Kelsie is consistent in all she does. Always working hard, always kind and always being the best example and friend to her peers. She is a beautiful dancer and a beautiful person all around. We love you Kelsie! We can’t wait to watch all the incredible things you do!

Hi-Light Dance has been Kelsie’s 2nd home for the past 11 years. When she first began dance she was so shy and quiet I didn’t even know if we would get her on the stage. But dance has been a wonderful outlet, and a safe place for her express her thoughts and feelings. Through dance she has learned to step out of her comfort zone, work hard, be creative, and learn patience. Dance has allowed her to create life long friendships,and develop into the beautiful dancer/person she is today. We are so thankful to her Hi-light family for all their support and encouragement to help her grow as a person and as a dancer. ❤️

Next up is our stunning Nicole. is another OG, we have been so blessed to have Nicole at hi-light for 15 + years! This girl is the most beautiful technician, has the most amazing feet and legs and is always so much fun to be around! We love you Nicole, best of luck in everything you do. We know you will be amazing! We will miss you so much!

Nicole took her first dance class at the age of 3 at Hi-Lights.  Dance has been a part of Nicoles life ever since.  Nicole loves to perform solos and the group dances on stage, competition season was always the best!  We enjoyed watching all her hard work and effort pay off…. We will miss watching her perform.  Nicole has beautiful technique and we have her teachers to thank for that.  Her dance teachers throughout the years have been exceptional and have always been wonderful examples to her.  We want to thank Hi-lights for all the years they have been a part of our lives!  They are family to us!

Here is our gorgeous Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is one of the OG’s of Hi-Light, we have had her at the studio since she was 3. We feel so blessed that we have had her cute self and her family with us for so long, more than 15 years! This girl is a natural leader, hardest worker we know, and she can command a stage! We can’t wait to watch all the incredible things you do Kaitlyn! We love you so much!!

Kaitlyn loves to dance and has been dancing at Hi-Light Dance Academy since she was 3 years old. The studio has been a great place to grow up! Kaitlyn has gained many great friends, learned to be committed and hard working, and has received lots of support and encouragement from her amazing Hi-Light teachers throughout the years. The Hi-Light family has quite literally become her home away from home. Kaitlyn is a problem solver, master organizer, dedicated to her team and Hi-Light family, loyal, fun and kind! We have loved watching Kaitlyn become a beautiful dancer and a beautiful person! Kaitlyn will be attending BYU in the fall.

Next up is our adorable Annie! We have been so lucky to have Annie at the studio for many years! She is kind, loving, genuinely cares about everyone around her, and has a huge heart! We have loved seeing her rapid improvement throughout the years. We will miss you Annie, best of luck in everything you do. We know you’ll be amazing! We love you!

It has been such a joy to watch Annie dance and she has loved every minute of her years at hi-light dance. Not only is Annie a beautiful dancer she is also a kind, strong and compassionate young woman. She has worked hard and dances with her whole heart and her positivity and light shine through when she dances. She has been taught and loved by Heidi, her teachers and her teammates and we will forever be grateful. It has always made us happy seeing her go to the studio, because we knew she was going to a place where she was not only taught well and given amazing opportunities to develop her talent, but also to a safe place where she was encouraged and loved, and where she was among true friends. You have all become like a second family to her, and she will miss you and treasure the time she spent with you! Annie we are just so proud of you, you are a light in our lives and we love you so very much!

Next up is our beautiful Addy! We have been so lucky to have addy at the studio for 7 years! This girl has effortlessly cool, her movement quality is next level, and her side leap will blow your mind! We love you so much Addy! We will miss you, but can’t wait to watch all the incredible things you do!

Addy joined Hi-Light’s when she was 11 after 7 years of dancing and gymnastics at other studios/gyms. She immediately fell in love with the teachers, the competitions, and the overall aspect of the studio.

Addy has formed lasting relationships with her team(s) and looks forward to what the future holds for all of them. She is graduating from AFHS with her associates degree from UVU and will be attending Dixie State this fall to complete her bachelors degree. She is excited for the sunshine and adventures in this new chapter but will miss the studio, teachers, and friends at Hi-Lights.

Next up is our darling Maison! We have been so blessed to have Maison at hi-light for over 10 years! This girl has gorgeous technique, is such a talented ballerina, so kind and always looking out for others. We are going to miss seeing you at the studio Maison! We love you so much and cannot wait to watch all the amazing things you do!

I will never forget Maison’s first day of dance as she skipped down the path to Heidi’s basement. After class she skipped back to the car with the biggest smile. She fell in love with dancing and Hi Lights has been her second home, and safe place, ever since the first skip down the path. Through dance Maison has learned hard work, perseverance, patience, compassion, and to believe in herself. She has made lifelong friends at Hi Lights that have also been a huge blessing in her life. Thank you Hi Light teachers (tomany to name) for taking time away from your loved ones to love and teach these girls and for being amazing role models to Maison, for teaching her that she can do hard things in dance and life. Maison will be attending UVU in the fall and will be working on her prerequisites for nursing school.
