The Hatch is a boutique mentorship program founded on the four principles of how dancers make money in the commercial industry. Over the course of the year the dancers will be immersed in intensive workshops focusing on choreography, self-promotion, teaching and performing. The Hatch focuses on self-choreographed concept videos and the creation of a self-choreographed live show. 

The Hatch - ages 15+ is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday’s from 2:30-4:30pm

The Hatchling - ages 11-14 is held Monday and Friday’s from 2:30-4:30pm

The Hatch is not an easy program and often tests the dancer’s determination and drive. The industry is unforgiving, and it is our goal to not only prepare The Hatchers technically but also emotionally. By the time a Hatcher Hatches from the program they will have tangible tools to succeed in whatever track (Broadway, Film & Television, Concert, etc.) they decide to pursue.

🪐Lorena Daily🪐


Lorena joined THE HATCH in 2020. She is 15 years old and her favorite style of dance is contemporary! Of the “Seasons of Love” process Lorena says “my favorite part of creating the show has been seeing all of the pieces come together to create one story and having the opportunity to create that with my friends has been amazing!” Lorena’s goals are to “work on improving my choreographing skills and to continue to hone my technique. The Hatch has been amazing in both of these realms and i have been so lucky to have the opportunities in the program that i’ve had.”

David joined THE HATCH in 2021. He is 15 and his favorite style of dance is Contemporary! Of the “Seasons of Love” process David says “my favorite part of creating the show was the process! I loved choreographing on my friends and receiving feedback from my teachers on how to take my pieces to the next level! David’s goals are to “grow in technique and eventually become a choreographer!”

Skyler joined THE HATCH in 2020. She is 18 years old and her favorite style of dance is tap! Of “The Seasons of Love” process Skyler says “My favorite part of creating this show has been seeing everyone’s creativity flow from their minds to the floor. Having the space to create in a supportive environment is such a special gift! Through THE HATCH Skyler has learned “how to work in a professional company and collaborate with other artists!”

Brad joined THE HATCH in 2022. He is 17 years old and his favorite style of dance is contemporary! Of “The Seasons of Love” process Brad says “My favorite part was learning how to incorporate everyone's styles of choreography into one cohesive show!” Through THE HATCH Brad was “given a more in depth look into the audition process for professional shows!”

MaLeah joined THE HATCH in 2020! She is 16 and her favorite styles of dance are contemporary, jazz, and hip hop! Of “The Seasons of Love” process MaLeah says “My favorite part of creating the show would have to be challenging myself to creating on different pieces of music that aren’t in my comfort zone, choreographing on my peers and seeing everyone’s interpretation and perspectives of the movement and storyline!” MaLeah joined THE HATCH because her goals “are to become a choreographer and teacher and Hatch has given me that opportunity at such a young age.”
