Hi everyone! 😁 My name is Nikola and I was born in Belgrade Serbia in 1989. I was first introduced to the martial arts world through kickboxing at the age of 17. At the age of 19, my younger brother, a Serbian national champion in the senior division at the time, influenced my transition from kickboxing to Kyokushin karate. A year later, my martial arts journey was stopped abruptly by an unfortunate event. I was attacked by 17 assailants, that mercilessly beat me with baseball bats and stabbed me in the back twice with a kitchen knife. The recovery process was long and painful for both me and my family. Not long after my recovery at the age of 23, I decided to leave Serbia and my family and move to Orlando, FL. 4 years later, I met my sensei Brandon McClure who introduced me to the art of Jiu-Jitsu. For obvious reasons, I value one's safety and well-being more than anyone you know. Now I want to share my knowledge and save you the trouble I went through.
