π **Inspiration Saturday** π
A Glimpse into Our Roots! π³β½
This evening, we're thrilled to share the second symbol that's part of our upcoming crest reveal. π Yesterday, we took you to Cherry Plaza at Lake Eola, a place steeped in history. In 1964, 27 passionate individuals gathered here, laying the foundation for what would become the Central Florida Soccer League. π€ At that meeting our founders created an organization called the Orange Soccer Club, later changed to Orlando Soccer Club before ultimately changing to the Central Florida Soccer League.
As we reflect on our rich history, we couldn't help but draw inspiration from this symbolic location. Cherry Plaza serves as a testament to the dreamers and visionaries who came together to create something truly special - our beloved league! π
So, in crafting our new crest, we've incorporated elements that pay homage to this historical milestone of reaching 60 years next year, honoring the spirit of unity and community that has defined us for decades. β½π³
Stay tuned as we continue this exciting journey towards our crest reveal. Together, we celebrate our past, embrace our present, and look forward to an even brighter future in Central Florida soccer! πβ½ Orlando City Soccer Club City of Orlando - Government
