Dumbbells over Distraction

Self care isn’t always soft or lazy. . For me it’s the workouts I commit to, the food I choose on purpose, the skincare after a long day and the sauna to relax my body. It’s the discipline behind it. No one really talks about the mental shift that happens when you consistently choose yourself. You stop waiting, you stop making excuses, and you raise your own standard. . Time to stop slacking on yourself and start choosing YOURSELF fammm.

Motivation might be low, but you know you deserve better. And that should be enough. We don’t rely on motivation. We rely on standards. If you want more, you move like someone who wants more. Joggers on, cap on and play that bomb ass playlist. Work on yourself. Quietly. Consistently.

Why be bothered with anyone else when they’re not you? Be bothered with your own consistency. Ask yourself if you showed up for yourself and if you actually took care of yourself in a way that matches what you say you want fam 🤍

Summer split 🤝 enjoying summer 4x a week strength training 1. Upper body workout 2. HEAVY legday 3. Upper body workout 4. Glute workout 10k+ steps every day 3/4 times a month an outdoor sports. Simple. Structured. But we still outsideeeee. I like having a plan, but I also want to enjoy the sun and move in ways that feel good to me. Summer isn’t about being stuck inside. It’s about staying consistent and still living your life. 💅🏽

One day you’re a badass kicking yourself to the max in the gym and the next day you can take care of yourself to slow down and check in with yourself. There are literally no rules to selfcare. Listen to yourself and your body and go slow if needed.

Having a routine that actually works is everythingggg
Setting goals like waking up at 5 isn't for everyone. You should make a routine thats easy to follow and doesn't require a lot of stress. With this routine I can still get enough sleep and enjoy the workout without having to worry about a time schedule. (And yes I still have a job hahah)
