Over the past couple days with the most freezing temperatures, I wanted to come on here and thank all the barn girls that have showed up this week to help me with everything around the barn.

Being only one person taking care of 35 horses it really does help! Thankful for having the best barn family around truly 🤍

Side note* At least the horses LOVED the snow storm ❄️

SVS attended the Huntingdon Horseman Banquet and came home with great prizes so proud of these girls💙🖤

Due to the EHV outbreak in the US, SVS is putting a hold on trailer in lessons/ horse shows/ boarding until further notice.

In the meantime we have plenty of great horses to learn on and fun activities planned at the barn!!

After this weekend of horse showing I can say I’ve learned a lot about the horse community. I’ve learned that jealousy is a crazy thing and that I couldn’t be more grateful for the family we have at SVS🤍

1. *LEASED* Dinero: 14yo 16.2hh Oldenburg Grey Gelding. Very well schooled horse, Timid rider approved, 2’6 Hunter/Jumper. If you can sit on him you can ride him.

2. *LEASED* Sharky: 5yo 16hh Ottb Grey Gelding. Easy kick ride, 2’ Baby Hunter.

3. Gucci: 6yo 14.1hh Appy Grey Gelding. Lots of Personality but the Jack of all trades, very well schooled, 2’6 Hunter/Jumper.

4. Rep: 14yo 16.2hh Ottb Bay Gelding. Very well schooled horse, Timid rider approved, 2’6 Hunter/Jumper.

5. Ozzy: 4yo 16hh Ottb bay Gelding. Absolute best baby horse I’ve ever had. So easy under saddle. Would be such a fun baby to bring along in the Hunters.

* 6. Kahlúa: 9yo 16.2hh ottb chestnut Mare. Must love the “red mare” personality. She is the best mover in the barn and such a fun horse. Talented horse and very well schooled on the flat but green over fences.

Over the weekend we had one of our girls compete at the 4h state show! Easy to say she did amazing and held her own against some good competition! Carlee took 6th place in Hunt Seat Equation on the Flat out of 21 competitors, 6th place in Hunter Hack Ponies out of 24 competitors, and 9th place in Hunter Under Saddle Ponies out of 23.
