UW-Stout Men's Golf

The UW-Stout men's golf team put the wraps on the 2019 fall season by competing at the Pleasant View Invitational hosted by UW-Madison. The meet consisted of UW-Stout and six NCAA Division I programs and was scored as an individuals meet only. Stout and Madison were the only teams to have four or more players compete. All five Stout competitors were freshmen.

UW-Stout's Matt Johnson scored a collegiate-low 73 on the second day of the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Invitational Monday on the Brute Course at the Grand Geneva Resort. Combined with an 81 from the first day, Johnson climbed 23 spots to finish in a tie for 34th, finishing with a two-day score of 154, matching a collegiate-best from last season.

When the meet moved from Greystone Golf Club on the first day to Blackberry Ridge on the second day, Gaby took off three strokes and finished in a tie for 57th place. Gaby hit an 80 on the first day, and followed that up with a 77 on the second day to finish with 157 strokes. As a team, Stout placed 19th.
