Allie will be a Solo Showcase Judge at the Altoona Dance Combine.

Allie Telgenhoff is the Head Dance Coach at the University of Virginia. She is originally from Denver, Colorado where she grew up training and competing in all styles of dance starting at the age of six. One of the highlights of her competitive dance career was competing, with her team, on the TV show America’s Got Talent. As a result, they performed throughout the U.S. and many other countries. She attended the University of Wyoming, where she danced for one year before the program was discontinued, and then cheered for the remaining four years. She began her coaching career as the Head Coach of a local high school dance team while also serving as the Assistant Cheer Coach at the University of Wyoming. She later spent two years as an Assistant Coach for the University of Arkansas Dance Team, helping lead the program to UDA Nationals in the Game Day and Jazz divisions. She is currently entering my second season as the Head Coach of the University of Virginia Dance Team.

Excited to welcome our first assistant to the Altoona Dance Combine for the Second Edition, Addison Evans!✨

Addison’s Home Studio - Dance Expressions by Erica

Incoming Freshman Class of ‘30 - University of Kentucky

My name is Addison Evans, and I am from New Stanton, PA. I have been dancing since I was just 4 years old, and now, as a senior at Dance Expressions by Erica in Irwin, I train and compete in all dance styles, with contemporary, hip-hop, and pom being my favorites!

I have attended multiple combines and college dance team clinics over the past 2 years, including the Altoona Dance Combine, which have really helped me gain experience with what a collegiate dance team requires!

In addition to my studio training, I’m proud to be part of my high school’s varsity cheer team, where we compete in both gameday and traditional routines. Being on the sidelines in cheer, combined with my studio training, has encouraged me to pursue dance at the collegiate level. I love the community spirit that cheer and dance offer, and I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm to the University of Kentucky’s Dance Team for the next four years!
