Studio One School of Performing Arts Dance School We are a professional dance school teaching ages 3 through 18 year olds. We follow the Altus Public Schools calendar with a few exceptions.

We offer classes and workshops in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern and Musical Theatre. New for the 2021-2022 season is AcroDance! We are certified through Acrobatic Arts, a worldwide-known company respected for their holistic approach to Acrobatics for the dancer. It is safe and effective! We are excited to offer this for our dancers who are ready to take their education to the next level. What a special three days it has been. No mirrors? No problem! Let’s just take the opportunity to sign the wall with our favorite sayings and Bible verses to give good vibes and blessings for the years to come. My heart is full. What a dream come true and watching my 86 year old mother, who started all of this, walk through the studio in awe, makes me so happy it hurts. “To Live Is To Dance” - her motto will live on for generations! 🩷🩰

Today is the last day to enroll. I’m turning the online enrollment off at midnight tonight. I need to send class emails out tomorrow since we are starting Monday. No new students can enroll our first week. We allow our currently enrolled students to check out other classes they may be interested in our first week. Our second week, I will open it back up to new students. Thank you!

A few sneak peeks for you! 🪩🩷 One week from today, this place will be buzzing with happiness and excitement! Beautiful entry floors, gorgeous wood - ideal for a dancer’s (and our instructors’) joints, so much space we will love and never outgrow. I can’t wait to share this with you all in its full glory in one week.
