The Golden Sandstorm finish in 9th place at the UIL 5A State Championship at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown. ⛳️
This season was a tremendous step in the right direction for Sandstorm Golf. Narrowly making it out of district by three shots, winning a team playoff at regionals, and ultimately getting to the state tournament for the first time in 31 years.
Throughout the ups and downs of the year, these guys didn’t lose faith, persevered, and played their best golf when it mattered most. I am so proud of this group and everything they accomplished this season. Sad to see this year end, but the memories made will last a lifetime!

310 team total for the Golden Sandstorm in the first round of the 5A State Golf Tournament in Georgetown. Sandies sit in a tie for 8th and are eager to get back out there tomorrow for round two and make a jump up the leaderboard.

Extremely proud of the way these Sandies competed and handled themselves all day through the good and bad holes. It was awesome to see this group battle against the best of the best and show that Sandstorm golf is here to stay at the state level!
