The West Texas Wranglers have tendered Reed Krouse, a 2007-born forward from the Capital Flames 18U.

Krouse is a big-bodied power forward who combines size, strength, and physicality with high-end skill and offensive touch. He plays a hard, heavy game, wins battles down low, and makes life difficult on opponents every shift, but also has the hands and hockey sense to make plays in tight areas and finish around the net.

Reed brings a strong two-way game and competes with intensity in all three zones. His combination of skill, soft touch, and power-forward presence makes him a player that fits exactly what we’re building in Amarillo.

We’re excited to welcome Reed to the Wranglers family and look forward to the impact he’ll make this season.

🚨 TENDER ALERT 🚨

The West Texas Wranglers have tendered Macklin Zimmerman, a 2010-born forward from Biggby Coffee 15U.

Zimmerman is a young forward with a ton of upside who already brings a high level of skill and creativity to the ice. He’s extremely shifty with the puck, able to make plays in tight areas and create space for himself offensively. Macklin also has a natural scoring touch and the ability to finish plays from anywhere in the offensive zone.

He’s especially dangerous on the powerplay, where his vision, hands, and offensive instincts make him a constant threat every time he’s on the ice. Macklin’s skillset and offensive potential fit perfectly with the fast, skilled, and attacking style we want to play in Amarillo.

We’re excited to add a young player with this kind of talent and upside to the organization and look forward to helping him continue to develop both on and off the ice.

The West Texas Wranglers have tendered Dominic Baeza, a 2007-born Canadian forward from the Bremerton Sockeyes (USPHL Premier).

Baeza is a strong power forward who brings a gritty, hard-nosed style of play with the skill and offensive upside to make an impact in all three zones. He competes every shift, battles hard in the dirty areas, and plays with the kind of relentless motor that fits perfectly with the identity we’re building in Amarillo.

Dominic is a smart 200-foot player with a high hockey IQ whose combination of physicality, skill, and compete level makes him difficult to play against. He plays the exact style of hockey that thrives in the South Division.

We’re excited to have Dominic joining the Wranglers family and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make this season.

The West Texas Wranglers are excited to tender 2007-born defenseman Carson Updike from the Florida Jr. Blades (USPHL Premier).

Carson is a highly skilled and versatile defenseman who brings a strong two-way presence and a playmaker mentality to the backend. His vision, puck-moving ability, and hockey IQ allow him to create offense and make plays from the blue line, while his composure under pressure helps drive transition and control the pace of play.

One of Carson’s biggest strengths is his versatility. He’s capable of playing on his offside, can be trusted in any situation, and competes hard in all three zones. Whether he’s breaking pucks out cleanly, quarterbacking the rush, or shutting plays down defensively, he consistently makes an impact every time he’s on the ice.

We’re excited to add Carson’s skill set and offensive creativity to our lineup and can’t wait to see what he brings to West Texas this season 🤠🐂

Whether it’s threading passes through tight lanes or finishing around the net, Brendan is a constant offensive threat every time he’s on the ice.

Ollie is a big, strong defenseman who skates well for his size and is very effective moving the puck. He brings a steady presence on the blue line, with the ability to make clean breakouts, support the rush, and handle pressure with confidence. His combination of size, mobility, and hockey sense makes him a valuable addition to our back end.

We’re confident Ollie will step in and contribute right away, and he fits exactly the style of play we’re establishing in Amarillo.
