🚨 LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT | VIVAAN SOOD 🚨
The West Texas Wranglers are proud to announce Vivaan Sood as an Assistant Captain for the 2026–27 season! 🏒🤠
Returning for his second season in West Texas, the Calgary, Alberta native has earned the respect of his teammates and coaches through his selfless play, positive attitude, and dedication to the Wrangler Way!
General Manager & Associate Coach Brit Brookes had this to say about Sood earning the “A”:
“Vivaan Sood is one of those guys every team needs in their locker room. He’s a true glue guy who always puts his teammates first and does whatever is best for the team. He’s always smiling, keeping everyone laughing, and bringing positive energy to the rink, but when it’s time to get serious, Soodsy is all business.
Whether it’s blocking a shot, taking a hit to make a play, or standing up for a teammate, he never hesitates to put the team first.
Being a Calgary native, Soodsy brings that Canadian hockey spirit and toughness that fits right in with our program’s strong Canadian roots, even down here in the heart of Texas.
Seeing how far he’s come as both a player and a young man over the past year has been incredible. I couldn’t be prouder of his growth and the leader he’s become. He embodies the Wrangler Way and has absolutely earned the ‘A’ on his chest.”
👏 Congratulations, Soodsy! We can't wait to see you continue leading the boys this season!
THE WRANGLER WAY. 🤠🏒
