Sorry for the long pause in updates! I've been extremely busy at work casting extras for a movie, but I do have an update. I tried this walnut grip stuff. It's not nearly as grippy as my first test, but I think I'll have it as an option.

I need to get my feet back underneath me now that my schedule has gotten so busy. I do have some footage that I'll put together soon, so look for that!

This stuff is way better than the transparent grip tape. I also just got another bag of grippy stuff I'm going to test with tonight.

It is almost here....

I'm testing sand as a grip substrate. I don't like it all that much, but I have a few more grip substitutes on the way. Good news is, I've figured out how to get it to stick to the board. So there's that.

Also, a status update on my 4th board. I finally got to ride it through really wet sidewalks. I got water, sticks, and general ground debris all over it. I let it dry and wiped away the leaves and dirt and it came off just fine with no damage to the board

I've done two more experiments with water resisting the cardboard. One makes the board darker and the other doesn't leave any mark. Both work. Would you like the option of a darker board?
