Monday the 24th was according to the soaring forecast models to have been a stellar day. Well, the soaring gods decided otherwise! So, Ethan Aabate and I in our LARK and Cary Kennedy in his GROB chased each other around the sky...often as in this vid, sharing the same thermal. Fun-fun!

And a flight review can be fun! After a practice rope-break, Lukas Von Atzigen (in front) and I took a tow to 3000', checked out a corn maze and spent over an hour having a good time. And note, tow-pilot, and aerobatic glider pilot...Lukas can definitely fly! 😎

And last Thursday, light sport pilot Ethan Abate did some nice flying from the front seat of our Lark...climbing under good cloud to over 6,000' a few times. The best part? Playing thermal tag with Cary Kennedy in his GROB. Fun-Fun!

On June 21st, Tidewater Soaring's Lou Glaab made the run from Garner Field in Windsor Va to Merlin. His ASW 27 looks good as he touches down and rolls out. His reward? Some company on the aerotow back! We uncaged our "Eric the Eagle" and it roosts now at TSS, until one of our guys makes the reverse trip and picks it up. :)
