Happiness is hearing your grandson Jaxon playing clarinet in the Lamb of God production. Perfect way to start the Easter season.
After many long deliberations, we announce with mixed feelings that we are discontinuing any future Utah Tour de Donut Events.
The Rotary Club of American Fork, who brought this event to you initially, merged with the Rotary Club of Pleasant Grove to become the Mount Timpanogos Rotary Club. This club was disbanded due to lack of membership and the remaining members chose to either join the Orem/Lindon Rotary Club or the Lehi Rotary Club.
With the transition, initially, we had commitments from these clubs to continue the event. Existing projects and fundraisers made scheduling an event, like the Utah Tour de Donut more difficult. In the end, the decision was made to retire the event.
We appreciate your support over the years and know this unique event broke the mold for cycling events.
This page will remain open for the near future. Eventually, we will shut it down.

Deseret star matinee with my favorite peeps featuring Indiana Bones.
After a couple years' break, due to COVID, plans are being worked on to bring the Utah Tour de Donut back for the 2023 cycling season!
Stay tuned for future announcements!
We appreciate your support and patience in years past and your understanding as we have tried to navigate COVID. It was a difficult decision to postpone this unique event.
All aspects of the event are being looked at in order to make 2023 our best Tour de Donut yet!
2020 into 2021 has proved to be interesting in a lot of ways. We hope everyone has stayed healthy and well over the course of the past year.
We have decided to postpone the 2021 event until 2022. We realize that COVID is on the downward trend, vaccinations are available, and riders are anxious to ride and eat donuts.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in 2022! As the date becomes available and registration opens up, we will let you know!
It is with mixed emotions that we are writing this post.
We have determined, under the current circumstances, that we will not hold the Utah Tour de Donut in 2020.
There are many factors which have been reviewed in making this determination and we feel the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and sponsors is of the utmost importance.
We are hopeful we will bring the event back in 2021.
Thank you for your participation at any level in the past. We have appreciated your support in our event as we have raised funds for a variety of wonderful causes over the years.

Ever wonder where the Five.12 Foundation got it's name and start?
Here is the experience that started it all!
Have you ever thought about what 5 dollars and 12 cents can do for someone?
Years ago, founder Nick Greer had an experience raising money for a dear friend who was diagnosed with leukemia. He was 26 years old with a young family.
But he didn’t have insurance to pay for treatment.
In just two short days they raised over $64,000. It was unreal. People were so generous in their thoughts, words, and actions.
But on the second day, Nick’s daughter, who was six years old at the time, came up to him. She had something in her hand.
She handed it to him and said, “Dad, it’s everything I have. Will this be enough money to save Eric’s life?”
It was 5 dollars and 12 cents.
Here was a six-year-old girl with such great faith to give back, to love, to help people that she barely even knew.
$64,000 was a lot of money. But that 5 dollars and 12 cents? That was everything she had and she was willing to use it to help someone in need.
For that reason we created the Five.12 Foundation. Because even 5 dollars and 12 cents can make an impact and save people’s lives.

Great to see one of the causes we support getting some wonderful recognition!
Now that school is back in session, there are always opportunities to help load back packs up with food for school kids. They meet Wednesday evenings. If you can spare an hour, they would appreciate the assistance!
