Art Dye Park Disc Golf Course

Art Dye is closed today, Thursday the 5th of June, through Saturday the 7th. Forkfest concert will be taking up significant portions of the course and have reserved the entire disc golf course from the city (like what we do for the patriot classic tournament). They will be kicking people off the course if necessary, just like we would during the patriot. My advice is go play some other great Utah County courses and stop by Birdcage disc golf shop and then come back to Art Dye to see the Aquabats.

Art Dye disc golf course will be closed to public play Sat July 3rd and Sun July 4th for the Patriot classic.

There are numerous other great courses in Utah county you can go play while Art Dye is closed: Jolleys Ranch (Hobble Creek Canyon), Urban Forest (Spanish Fork), Dry Creek (Lehi), Rock Canyon, Bicentennial m, and Slate Canyon (Provo)

Art Dye has been reserved for the next week to shoot footage for a horror show. 👹😈👻☠️

This has been approved by AF Parks and Rec, police, and fire department. Only holes 13-16 are effected, but please do not disturb the film crew. There is an RV that will be parked on the fairway of 15. We will be removing the baskets from 13-16 this afternoon.

Favor time: Next Tuesday (Sept 15th) evening the American Fork city council is having a meeting and part of the agenda includes talking about a new formal relationship with Wasatch Disc Golf Club to improve and maintain Art Dye Disc Golf course. This is very excited news.
The city council meeting will be a virtual zoom meeting and will not have the ability for attendees to comment, but you can submit comments before the meeting (3 hours previous to meeting start is the deadline). I think it would be really nice if you can submit a comment for the meeting. You can make a difference
A good outline of your comment might be something like:
“My name is [Blah Blah], and live in [some city], and I really enjoying playing disc golf at Art Dye. I enjoying playing there [some number of times per week, or month, or year]. I like to throw discs in the [morning, afternoon, or all day] with my [self, friends, family, or friendly strangers]. I am glad to have a place like Art Dye to play disc golf.”
