Oh? Us??? We are just celebrating 19 years of marriage! Who can believe? We’ve lived all over and made it through so many challenges- bring on the new adventures!
I asked him tonight, “Where would you like to go for our 20th?”
His answer, “Costco.” 😳

What a cool night! Our girl received recognition from the school district for being a leader. She didn't know she was going to be recognized and was so surprised! Thanks Aunt for being there! 💕🩷 Side note: a couple of those school board members are from my neighborhood. I'm so grateful to grow up in such a special tiny corner of the world. 🌎🤩

Happy Halloween! This was a bold move for my girl- but it’s just what she wanted!
And this year she’s off with her friends to Trunk-or-Treat and have some fun!

What a fun fall break! Lots of laughs, connecting time, and so much love. My heart is so grateful. 🩵🙏🏽💜

Today was so lovely! We went to the Deseret Peak Temple Open House. WOW! It is exquisite- the colors, the stained glass, simply exquisite. Then we got some lunch at Virg’s in Tooele. And my family had to try the Ginormous Burger. Serious, 1 lb of meat. Think of a meat cake. On a bun. Of course they couldn’t eat even half- but it sure made us laugh.

It’s all about people.

Life is all about people. Or better said, relationships, the group you build for yourself.

And especially today, I’m so grateful for these powerful women.

These are “the crazy girls,” as they’re called in my house. But this group has community leaders, business owners, healers, and academic scholars. But to me, they are my friends.

They celebrate others’ successes as if they were their own.

They ask how you are and wait. They want the real answer.

They inspire you to be better. And remind you why they believe in you.

Their texts have brought insight, support, and a whole lot of laughter.

I’ve heard it said, “Find the people who not only accept you as you are but encourage you to become who you’re meant to be. That’s your tribe.”
Even though we don’t see each other regularly, they are part of my tribe.

What a lovely day! We got a quick couple of moments to hug my mission friends, listen to their stories, meet their families, and be together. I’m so grateful to be blessed with such good people in my life! New goal: I would like more moments like this in my life with more good friends. Bring on more new moments with old friends! 🩵💙💖

She’s ready! This girl is ready to go take it on! I am inspired by her kindness, drive, and tenacity every day.

Lovely day! We are so happy for our dear friends, the Melendez family, who was with us through the craziness of submarine life. has been a second Mom and watched out for my girl like her own. After a whopping 23 years of military service, I’m so excited to see what’s next for them! What an incredible milestone. Thanks for letting us be part of your special day. ⛵️⚓️
