MEET NEW TEACHER - GRACE
We are so excited to introduce you to our new teacher - Grace.

About Grace:

Hi! I’m Grace Hanson, a newly certified Yoga Sculpt instructor and lifelong lover of movement. I’ve been practicing yoga for over five years, and I love the way it challenges me physically while also helping me feel more grounded and present mentally. I’m currently a senior at Iowa State University studying Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I’m originally from Hudson, Wisconsin, and outside of the studio, you can usually find me going on a run, playing sports, or finding another way to stay active. As an instructor, my goal is to create a welcoming, encouraging environment where everyone feels comfortable challenging themselves and becoming stronger both physically and mentally. I want you to leave every class feeling empowered, accomplished, and refreshed. Come move, sweat, and sculpt with me!

Grace will lead Friday 7am and every other Wednesday 7pm.

About Lilly:

Hi! I’m Lilly Schildroth and I’m a Marketing and Entrepreneurship student at Iowa State. I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years now, and recently completed my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training online through Yoga Renew. I’ve had the opportunity to teach in my hometown before joining the Ignite team! I’m so excited to continue to grow my practice on the mat and am grateful for the opportunity to lead others in their yoga journey as well! I can’t wait to see you in class

MOBILITY IS NOW DYNAMIC MOBILITY

We are evolving and we are giving our Mobility class a fresh, new name. The class day and time will remain the same.

DYNAMIC MOBILITY
THURSDAYS 9AM Led by WENDY

Mobility is in the forefront of the fitness world these days. When we hear about mobility, it is most notably, movement within the joints. Mobility gives us the ability to move purposefully throughout our day, and enables us to do the activities we need and enjoy performing- walking, climbing stairs, biking, hiking, running, golfing, gardening, swimming, and, of course, yoga! In “Mobility Yoga”, we emphasize the two complex ball and socket joints in our body- the shoulder and hip joints- and then we also work throughout the rest of our body to access the feet, ankles, knees, spine, wrists, hands, and neck. Come and experience the strength, balance, coordination, and stamina that comes with moving through our range of motion in a healthy way. This is a non-heated room, a light-hearted environment, where we provide modifications for all our unique needs. Our soundtrack/playlist will include music with a chill, atmospheric vibe.

Today we rolled out our mats and came together in oneness to support those struggling in Minnesota. Yoga is amazing as it grounds us and unites us with our true purpose of ahimsa, doing no harm. As our world struggles, we can still make a difference by doing what we can to help others. Our 5:30am class showed up and donated their hard earned dollars and opened their heart to help , a Minneapolis based food bank providing resources for those in need.

Thank you to our wonderful community who recognized the need for resources in another suffering community.

Many have reached out to help as they were unable to attend this morning’s class. We will keep our donation harbor through next week should you choose to help. And Ignite will match donations up to $1000 🙏🏼.

If you too are struggling to make sense of whatever is happening in your world, get to your mat, breath and practice ahimsa. It might not change the world, but it will calm your mind. We are here for you 🙏🏼😘🧘🏻‍♀️🙌🏻

WHAT IS VEAP: VEAP stands for Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People. Since 1974, VEAP has provided a range of programs to help low-income individuals and families meet their immediate needs and move toward stability. Today VEAP operates one of the largest food pantries in the state of Minnesota. They provide access to programs for over 10,000 individuals each month through their Food & Basic Needs and Social Services programs.

At Ignite Yoga, we believe community matters, not just our community, but all communities. Denise and our team are dedicated to supporting individuals in the Twin Cities that are in crisis by helping them get the resources they need. We also recognize that many want to help but aren’t sure how — and we’re working to make helping simple, meaningful, and accessible by coming together to practice yoga and donating $10.

Let’s unite together as one and give back to others while we practice with a true intention of doing some good to help others in our fragile world.

Denise is donating her time/pay and Ignite Yoga will match all donations up to $1000!

Happy 14th Birthday to us!!! We celebrated with an awesome, sweaty, challenging flow lead by Matt.

We are so grateful for our community of faithful yogis of all shapes, sizes, ages, genders, and abilities. It is you who make us such a special place to practice yoga, Pilates, sculpt and barre!

Special shoutout to our amazing team of teachers. We are blessed with the best!

We also raised $270 for the 🙌🏻🤩🙏🏼. Thank you to those that donated. And congrats to Kacie P who won the hot yoga towel in our drawing.
