The series of six classes, held once each week, offers tools and support to help you reduce stress, solve problems, and communicate confidently when faced with tough decisions.

Healthy Steps for Older Adults (HSOA) is an evidence based, four hour program designed to help reduce fall risk and support overall health and well being. Participants will complete intake testing, learn practical strategies through classroom education, and receive basic exercise instruction.

Topics include environmental safety, nutrition, foot health, staying active, medication side effects, social connectedness, and mental and spiritual well being. Participants will also receive helpful resources and referrals to support healthy, active living.

Ames Parks and Recreation will present it's annual free movie night at Bandshell Park, featuring the 1995 classic "Casper".
