Thank you to the Town of Westport, Ma. for hosting the Rivers and Roads trainings field exercises, the Town Of Pepperell for providing lunch space for participants, and Pepperell Conservation Administrator for joining Day 2 to answer questions and highlight the importance of multi-agency partnerships in conservation efforts. MassDOT and its partners recently released a new Rivers & Roads Field Guide and Training webpage: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/rivers-and-roads-training. We were happy to be a Bronze Sponsor at the Worcester County Highway Association Meeting today at Wachusett Mountain! The event had equipment showcases and municipal trainings, including sessions led by David Smith. It was a beautiful day to connect with new and old colleagues.

We had a wonderful time at the APWA New England Chapter Public Works Week Luncheon, celebrating the tireless efforts of public works professionals and their partners, who keep our cities and towns safe.
This week, we recognize the invaluable contributions of these individuals; this year, we were pleased to honor several notable individuals from New England, including Regina Hackett from T2 Center at the University of Connecticut and Bill Riccio, Jr. of Newport, Rhode Island.
Congratulations, and most of all, thank you for everything you do!
