In celebration of Comets Care Week, our Amherst Steele Cheerleaders have special “We Care" Cheer Pins and Diabetes Awareness Pins to spread awareness, kindness, and a whole lot of COMET CARE! 💙🩵

At Friday night’s football game, the cheerleaders will be looking 👀 for fans to “pin” - so keep an eye out for the cheerleaders… you never know who they’re going to pin next!!

And you don’t have to wait to be chosen - come find a cheerleader and ask for your own “We Care" pin or a Diabetes Awareness pin.

🏈 26 YEARS.

The year was 2000.

Gladiator was in theaters.
The PlayStation 2 was brand new.
NSYNC and Eminem were all over the radio.

And the Amherst Comets beat the Avon Lake Shoremen, 33–13.

Nearly 26 years later, the Comets have another opportunity.

A huge THANK YOU to our Amherst Steele Cheerleaders for the sweetest little surprise at last night’s Hawaiian-themed football game! 🌺

The girls passed out adorable flowers to the little girls in the stands to wear in their hair, and it was seriously the cutest thing! 🥰🌸

Such a simple gesture, but such a sweet way to make our youngest fans feel special. 💚💛

So proud of these girls for spreading a little Aloha 🌺 spirit both on and off the sidelines!
