The race is part of the Grand Tree Trail Race series in New England. It is also one of ten races in the La Sportiva Mountain Cup. Today, the 7 Sisters Trail Race is a fundraising event that benefits The Friends of the Holyoke Range. The 7 Sisters Trail Race has donated more than $65,000 during its existence.
