Anaconda Country Club is a nine hole course with eighteen tees. Walk, or ride in our rental carts, the beautiful course located in Opportunity right outside of Anaconda. Fill up a cooler with a six pack to take with you on the course, or grab your favorite soda. All of your golfing essentials can be found in the pro shop. The banquet hall is a great place to host a class reunion, wedding reception, or any of your party needs. The courtyard provides a wonderful view for your special day!

Congratulations to ACC Golf Professional Caleb Stetzner for finishing T2 at the Montana Open held at Larchmont GC in Missoula. Caleb shot rounds of 66, 73 and 71 (-6) to finish in a four way tie for first. Amateur, Sean Ramsbacher of Missoula won the playoff and is the Montana Open champion for 2026. JW Scolari of Las Vegas won the pro division. Caleb tied for 2nd in the pro division with Jimmy Mee (son of Anaconda native Barb Green Mee and Jerry Mee) of Missoula. The four golfers all finished at -6. Caleb won the Montana Open last year. Way to go Caleb, we are proud of you! The ACC is closed today while we do our emergency greens aeration. We are planning on getting back open by this afternoon after all of the work is completed. Our friends at Deer Park Golf Course have reached out to offer all ACC members a discounted rate of $30 for 18 holes and a cart while we are recovering from the hail damage and aeration for the next two weeks. We would like to thank George Mann and all of our friends at Deer Park GC for the nice gesture!

Because of the unexpected damage from the hailstorm Sunday night, we are moving our scheduled greens aeration to Tuesday, September 8th. This is to try and help speed up the recovery of the greens decimated by the large hail. The course will be closed Tuesday until all of the work is completed. We have tried to contact all of the golfers on the tee sheet, but don't have phone numbers for a few of the golfers. We will be moving the Senior Tournament scheduled for Thursday, September 10th at 9:00 am, forward a week, to Thursday, September 17th, also at 9:00 am. Please contact the Pro Shop to confirm that you are still able to play. The ladies league day and trophy dinner scheduled for Wednesday, September 9th at 12:00 pm is still on. Congratulations to Brandi and Owen Krum and Mike Hart and Sue Auvil for winning their respective divisions in the ACC's annual Coors Light 2 Person Challenge! In the A Division, Brandi and Owen Krum's 36 hole total of 124.5 was one half of a stroke better than defending champs Jake and Erin Kelly (125) and 1 stroke ahead of Sean Gallagher and Ricco Ungaretti (125.5). In the B Division, Mike Hart and Sue Auvil (113) won by 7 shots over runner up Bryan and Kim Wolfe (120) and by 13.5 over Dick Kroll and Kory Austin (126.5). The first round of the Coors Light 2 Person Challenge is complete. Brandi and Owen Krum shot a 58 (-13) today to take the lead in the A Division by 2 strokes over Mike and Andy Kelly (60) and by 3 strokes over Robbie Dee and Dave Wolfe (61) and Nathan Voegele and Derek Burch (61). There is a 4 way tie for first in the B Division! Rick and Trish Wagner, Dick Kroll and Kory Austin, Bryan and KIm Wolfe and Mike Hart and Sue Auvil all shot 60 (-11) for their rounds today! Tomorrow, there will be a shotgun start for all golfers at 9:00 am. It should be an exciting finish for both divisions! Congratulations to Big Sky Rental for winning the ACC Men's Night League for the 2026 season! They won the first half of the league and followed that up by winning the second half as well, avoiding the championship match! Members of the team are: Nick Piazzola, Billy Robinson, Bob Auvil, Jayde Thompson and Ty Murphy. Lefty's Par Busters finished in second place overall.
The league concluded tonight with the annual Frank Rooney Memorial Tournament. Rusty Napier was the overall champion with a low net score of 29.5! Spencer Parks was the low gross winner with a score of 36. Way to go guys! Thanks to all 18 teams that played league this year and made it a very fun and memorable year!

Congratulations to Bryan and Kim Wolfe for winning the ACC Husband and Wife tournament! Bryan and Kim shot a 9 hole net chapman score of 29.9. Rob and Nellie Rossberg (32) were 2nd, Terry and Sheila Martin (32.3) were 3rd, Rob and Shannon Hurley (32.4) were 4th and Bob and Sue Auvil (32.6) were 5th. In the Kathy Devitt/ Joe Stranieri Memorial Net Skins game, Bryan and Kim Wolfe (119) also accumulated the most points in the A Division! Rick and Trish Wagner (50) were next, followed by Scott and Karina Driscoll (42), Ben and Tanna Andrews (42), Clint and Rachell Barkell (42) and Devon Kellner and Aleesha LaBreche (42). In the B Division there was a four way tie for the most points with 75 between Eric and Destiny Boyd, Kyle and Amanda Fehrer, Joe and Heidi Ungaretti and Bob and Ann Morani. Congratulations to Wendy Graveley and Darla Knutzen for being Co-Medalists at the annual ACC Ladies Invitational! They both shot 41 for the 9 hole tournament! Gross flight winners were: Rosie McKay and Veronica Hall, Debbie Midtlyng, Hannah Gonsalves, Patty Nazer, Nellie Rossberg, Brenda Walker, Debra Parks and Lisa Patanella, Cassie Tucker and Michelle Kelly! Net flight winners were: Mary Spanbauer, Carolyn Miller, Rona McOmber, Morgan Smith, Donni Cochran, Alisha Severson and Ellen Daugherty, Fran Galvin, Tiffany Rehbein and Loralee Beatty.
