We thought it was finally time to formally introduce ourselves! 👋

We’re Jake and Megan, the owners of On the Rocks Climbing Center, alongside Jake’s mom, Rachelle. 🧗‍♀️

Our climbing journey started in college in Phoenix, where we instantly became hooked (Forks up). Most weekends, you could find us bouldering at South Mountain at 5am, trying to beat the Arizona heat. As broke college students, we slowly saved up enough gear to start sport climbing, which turned into countless road trips to northern Arizona for lead climbing adventures.

Later, I moved to Wisconsin for graduate school and quickly realized outdoor climbing looked a little different there thanks to the weather and terrain. That’s when I discovered just how much fun indoor climbing can be — and how amazing the climbing community is, no matter where you are.

A couple years ago, Jake and I moved to Montana to be closer to family. We’re still exploring the outdoor climbing around here, but more than anything, we wanted to bring our passion for climbing to the Anaconda community.

We’re so excited to build a space where people of all ages and experience levels can challenge themselves, connect with others, and fall in love with climbing the same way we did. Thanks for being part of this journey with us! ❤️
